Popular Post beswetherick Posted Friday at 12:52 Popular Post Posted Friday at 12:52 We must: • maximise returns to creditors; and • secure the right long-term owner for Sheffield Wednesday. Rushing this stage would serve neither objective. “Secure the right long-term owner for Sheffield Wednesday” is the bit that stood out to me. I’d much rather wait a bit longer for a better outcome than them rush into a sale to some tyre-kicker just to meet a deadline. 11
Bob Posted Friday at 12:52 Posted Friday at 12:52 I'm more than happy. Still big hitters want us, that's my take, and don't try and derail it. 1
Beauchief Owl Posted Friday at 13:02 Posted Friday at 13:02 Five firm credible bids, positive for future. Thanks Kris that's what I wanted to hear. 1

AwokenGiant Posted Friday at 13:04 Posted Friday at 13:04 Clear statement, and it pretty much confirms the outcome will be a serious owner, not someone scraping the barrel. 3

I don't think you'll get any tyre kickers offering 30+ million after already showing they have liquid assets of 50 million. Think the proof of funding got rid of them. 3

Popular Post wellbeaten-the-owl Posted Friday at 13:07 Popular Post Posted Friday at 13:07 Am being very nitpicky here (do sometimes seem to fear the worst) but would have been happier if @Kris Wigfield had reconfirmed that the "strong credible offers" they are working with are above the level needed to avoid the 15 point deduction. 13

Deluded Owl Posted Friday at 13:09 Posted Friday at 13:09 I think they’ve got until the end of January to get a deal done before the money starts to run out? 1 1
Kopparberg Posted Friday at 13:12 Posted Friday at 13:12 It’s all good Think about other things Like, do dogs get twice as tired because they’ve got twice as many legs as us ? 2

I am sure we will have new owners by then. Not sure another week is going to make much difference, it seems they are confident that any of the remaining bidders will pass the EFL test.
