And there is Gareth Southgate?

Is he still out of work?

A bit dour but so are some of the other names mentioned.

It would be good to get a young progressive attack minded manager.

Need some excitement.

Yep that wouldn't be a shock would it, if a foreign owner thinks hiring an ex-england manager is a good move.

Southgate is rated by some in the game (rightly or wrongly).

I don’t think he can , unfortunately he’s shown no respect to us fans whatsoever in pimping his self out

unless a takeover happens and Danny makes a statement and reasons he wanted to leave then NO

and I love Danny and what he’s done here

Unbelievable.

I can’t fathom for a moment why we wouldn’t want to keep him. Danny with resources is as good as we will get at the moment and we should be bloody excited by that prospect.

I’d be pleasantly surprised if we end up with either though!

He's  not burned any bridges with me.  unlike you I can only speak for myself. Can you explain how you can speak for the rest of the fans.

Not sure about Danny's signing success when it comes to spending good money. He's been decent with the odd freebie or loanee but when it comes to hard cash then his choice of signings is questionable at best. If the rumours are true and we're taken over by extremely wealthy people then a proven manager who's good in the market will probably be at the top of the list so that he can put together a team capable of winning this league.

Been thinking about this since all the rumours started. Yes I would prefer him to stay and carry on as if nothing had happened but this can only be the case if a take over goes through.

However, let's not forget that DR has surrounded himself with a very good and experienced coaching staff and possibly one of the biggest we have had. I would imagine that although, and possibly rightly, he deserves most of the credit, a lot of what has happened has been with the input from the team. If Pedersen is going to be moved up to manager and can keep/add his own team then the transition may not be as bad as thought. However this is very dependent on DC providing backing IF he is still the owner come the new season which I desperately hope he isn't.

What has DR done wrong?   He’s a brilliant coach and he wants to progress.  If Gassama gets some interest from Man City next season we might be upset losing a great player but no one would blame him for wanting to play at a better level.  What’s the difference?

DR also has to put up with a boss who’s offensive and clueless if he stays here!

I would love to be wrong, but I'm sure he's already gone and we're just waiting for the announcement really.

Sadly I think your right.

My God. He’s probably the best manager that we’ve had since Big Ron , and we had him back !

Given the fact that he’s been working under hopeless conditions for an owner who clearly broke his promises and will not give Danny the tools for the trade or invest in the infrastructure I think that he’s been dignified beyond belief.
