Danny is a very happy man tonight
Danish replied to Owling Wolfe's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Danny and his coaching team have already performed miracles this season whatever happens in the last eleven games. Currently we are an absolute joy to watch, who would have thought that was even possible after the first ten games of this season? He’s brought the love, team spirit and pride back into our club at a time when everything was so toxic. He’s remarkable, we’ve struck gold with this fella, let’s just enjoy it. -
Clear goal, nothing wrong with it, shocking decision. Thank God it didn’t cost us three points.
-
The Hull penalty was a very soft decision, shame, we deserved another clean sheet. Well done boys!!
-
He’s come back into the team with the right attitude and showed what an excellent asset he his.
-
So much room down our right hand side, we need to be exploiting that and making quick, decisive balls to create better chances.

We’ve gone 99 years but a trophy ain’t won

Every 10 minutes or so, City have to pass it back to Ederson so he doesn’t fall asleep. It’s a decent attendance for a training session. -
We really need a result tonight. Looks a very attacking line-up on paper…..a very quick and exciting front three!

More Injuries.. Current Best XI
Danish replied to Geörge Whitebread's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Would go with this starting 11. Gasama, Fletcher, James off the bench second half when required. Can’t afford any more injuries right now. -
Do we need quantity over quality?
Danish replied to shandypants's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
A few quality signings and fingers crossed, an introduction of one or two youngsters. I’m sure it’s also dependant on who leaves. Gregory, Bakinson and James don’t seem to feature in the managers current plans. The loan signings by and large haven’t really worked out so perhaps we will see a few return to parent clubs next month too. -
Defensively terrible so far tonight yet we still could get something from this!!
-
Absolutely, we’ve stumbled across a real gem in D.R. Please let this be a long term project for himself and his coaching staff.

Norwich away. Night game. Your team would be..?
Danish replied to 1952Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Patterson for Windass. James for Johnson Smith for Cads. -
After the performance and results of last week I’m really looking to this afternoon, we can definitely get a positive result. It’s a rollercoaster supporting Wednesday we all know this but at the moment I’m very optimistic, we seem to have a great manager and coaching staff in place and incredibly against all the odds we seem to have turned a corner on and off the field. Never a dull moment!!

Eddie Howe, Gary O’Neil, Graham Potter, Sean Dyche, Will Stills (Belgium born but to English parents).

It’s the 1st November and we’ve already had more club statements this season than the majority of football clubs have in a decade.

Josh Windass had something he wanted to say
Danish replied to YesWeCrann's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I think the comment from Josh is fair enough. I can see why it would upset him and Bannan to be reading such rubbish. He’s said his peace, let’s all move on.- 71 replies

Agreed. We’ve certainly missed him, my Rotherham supporting Mrs. always claimed he wasn’t Championship level but he deserves the chance with us to show that he’s more than capable.

Chansiri Club Statement in Full
Danish replied to northeastowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I’m starting to believe sadly that this is a massive possibility. What an absolute farce. It’s bloody heartbreaking! -
I’m not usually one to call for a manager to be sacked but this needs to happen tonight.
-
Would we be better off sacking him now and letting Neil Thompson take over in a caretaker role?
-
What starting lineup would you put out tonight?
Danish replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Vasquez Palmer Bernard Ihieke James Byers. Hendrick. Buckley Windass Musaba Gregory -
The Keeper and Bernard look very good signings. Big Mo looked great against Preston before getting injured. Hendricks and Buckley are good loan signings, not sure about the rest we’ve signed. I do like Dawson also, Goalkeeper is the only position I’m not worried about right now.
-
Shocked Buckley isn’t starting. The line-up looks more suited to an away fixture where we would play looking to be compact and difficult to beat much like against Leeds. Would hope to see us be more attacking at home, we shall see Hendricks and Byers in midfield is a plus.

A few quick thoughts: True statement or not……just don’t do it What will it achieve? Absolutely nothing. I want to like DC but he makes it impossible. It’s all just very embarrassing!!
