You have all completely lost the plot and clearly have been listening too much to brainless pundits like carragher and Murphy - proper anfield boot room  boys who always dig in when someone threatens the mighty reds.

Salah past iit ?!   As a reminder only 6 months ago he finished the season as top premier league goal scorer - scoring 6 more than his nearest rival, the top assist maker in the league , and won pfa and premier league player of the year. Not 6 years ago , 6 MONTHS AGO!   We are talking about a player who was by a country mile the best player in the league last season who started the season a bit slower than usual and all of a sudden he is past it and dropped ?!

Salah is absolutely right that it is ridiculous he has been dropped for some of the new signings who look absolutely awful so far.

Your age catches up with you in the off-season. It's easier to keep on going than it is to slow down and start again, but unfortunately you have to take a break or else you burn out. One day, you try and get your old pre-season routines going again, and it just doesn't happen.

Salah has been noticeably off the pace this season. Also worth noting that if he's coming out and saying this in public, then he's probably been disruptive behind closed doors already.

Actually good points made by Rooney,  that you have to earn your place in the side even if you are Salah.

Got a feeling it’s going to end in tears for both of them now.  Shame that

I said he wouldn't be starting games come the second half of the season. I was wrong as its happened a lot sooner. Every team has worked out that the Liverpool right side is a weakness due to Salah not working hard enough off the ball. Another barometer of Salah's form falling off a cliff is the generous odds that bookmakers offer on Salah having a shot on target.

I like players who take it personally when dropped and use it motivation to prove the manager wrong.

But Salah has really gone about it the wrong way airing his dirty washing in public.

Think he regrets signing a contract and is engineering a move away.

You often hear pro footballers say that their legs going is a sudden thing.

For whatever reason, it's not happening for Salah and lobbing a hand grenade into what was a faltering season wasn't the right thing to do.

In the space of 10 minutes, he threw his manager under the bus, brought his club into disrepute and disrespected his teammates.

Issue with Salah is he always does this when things don’t go his way.

Liverpool would do well to get him to take a move to Saudi.

Hes been an immense player for them but you can’t live off that forever. He and they have been poor this season and you’d expect players like Salah to rally the troops not kick off and make things worse.

O'Hara was on Sky Sports News talking about whether Slot can actually handle big name players. Diaz and Trent have moved on, now Salah has thrown his toys out of the cot.

Maybe the first two thought that last season was a fluke and decided to get out and now Salah has realised he's stuck there in a team that's gone backwards

Not that he's played well this season, he definitely hasn't and their constant changing of the right back due to injuries has left him quite exposed as he doesn't like to run back towards his own goal

Salah wants to go play in Saudi for big money, while barely trying

he’s realised he’s messed up and gotta play premier league winning football at his age

now he’s trying to engineer a situation to rectify his stupid decision

he’s a a waste man and it’s annoying me but cus it’s happening to Liverpool, I’m also like ‘haha this is mint’

lol

The common sense thing from all angles is for Salah to go to a less demanding league in January for a big transfer fee and a big wage. Everybody wins.

I laughed when in the European game the other week he just stood there on his tip-toes letting the player run past him. (which led to a goal).  Not even hiding the fact that he wasn't going to be doing any defending.

If Liverpool were to let Salah "win" which appears to be by sacking Slot, then what sort of message would that send out to the rest of the squad?

It's pretty obvious the only thing they can realistically do is flog him to the highest bidder.

Pretty sure the Saudi pro league will be more than happy to offer them a shed load for his services.

Thing is, I suspect Slot will probably get moved on in the summer anyway. Liverpool aren't really a club who make kneejerk decisions.

I am so weirdly angry about this

I can’t even word it

if I was slot id be like… MO…. Avoid me for the rest of your life because I will be waiting for any chance I get to destroy you

I’m incensed 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What's hilarious is Liverpool smashed their wage structure and previous policy to keep Salah on for another two years.

Brilliant player, but he's 33 now, so always a risk of his legs going a little and a drop in form.

And their reward has been a crap season and him now blowing up their entire season :duntmatter:
