Spurs away mid 80s

Was that around 85’ when Clive Allen was banging them in for fun?

I seem to remember this and being on way to London when it got called off. Then diverted and took in a random game.

Coventry City at home rain

Same. The rain was bouncing up to my shins on the Kop. Was grateful it got called off as we didn’t seem ‘at it’ anyway

I've been at the two recent (well, this century!) home abandonments against Wigan and Coventry.

Remember a home game against Derby being called off very very close to kick off in the early 80s.

I seem to remember getting to Leppings Lane for a match against Derby and there was "match off" written on a big piece of cardboard propped up outside. Sure it was snowing too. Definitely in the 80s.

Christmas 1969. Liverpool away by train. Got all way to Anfield before being told " Fogged off la" Had to wait till 1984 for next chance. Least we won.

Blackpool away around Xmas time i just set off as game was called off

Cheltenham away game was called off because of a frozen pitch down one side the replay was nearly abandoned for a waterlogged pitch

Was it Coventry at home where it got called off because of snow ?
