Admittedly, there are an awful lot of mitigating circumstances as to why that is, but still. It's clear there are some fans who have turned against him, viewing his recent behaviour as disrespectful to the football club. It's an interesting one. Agreed but he is also seems sensible and pragmatic. If new owners were prepared to back him based on what he believes is needed here I think he’d stay. The club will be a totally different (and more attractive) proposition once DC has moved on. 1
Pulcinella Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Provided he feels within himself he can give us new impetus. If he's drained by what's gone on so far, and he'd rather go to pastures new, then no. He'd have to be all in.
Mr. Tom Posted May 16 Posted May 16 No brainer for me, stability usually a good thing and want to see what he can do if properly backed before we draw any long-term conclusions. The signs are there.
Pulcinella Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Plus, I'm not sure he's the best at recruitment. That task would need to be at minimum shared.
Owls12387 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Without a doubt, love to see him with proper backing and infrastructure. But he’s already gone…
Harrysgame Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Don't think he has conducted himself as well as he might in the past few weeks, sure he has had provocation but all the same expected a bit more professionalism. If we are getting new owners with the backing then we may get an upgrade on DR.....depends who they trust to manage their investment.....DR s ramblings over the last week may count against him.
S72 Owl Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I think it’s only the Kool Kids on Twitter that wouldn’t want him. Them people that can’t wait to jump on something negative about someone and claim they always told you so.

room0035 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Give Danny backing to sign the players that can play his high intensity way, give him the training facilities to improve the players, give him the youth set up to develop players of the future and then don't be surprised when the club moves forward. Then finally give him stadium that is fit to play the brand of football and watch it be packed out every game. This is what we could have with a competent chairman and a manager such as Röhl in charge of the first team. 1
F. Spiksley Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Yes. If there is any glimmer of hope then it's a yes from me.
