We're going to be an entirely different team. It's all too easy to say stop signing former players, stop living in the past.

So remove the former player tag (even though he was a well-liked former player)

 

If the report was 'Wednesday making a move for 24 goal contribution L2 striker who can also play across various positions and has a terrific attitude' - we'd be buzzing. 

 

I could see Patto having a desire to be back further north. He's got two young children and his wife is also Scottish.
