Popular Post SheffSharks56 Posted June 17 Popular Post Posted June 17 Got a spare few minutes so just watched Simon Wilson interview. I rarely post on here, more of a reader than a writer, but thought i would share my views. Having supported the Owls since 1968 when i moved to Sheffield as a kid, like so many on here, i have seen so many ups and downs. But this last few months feels so different. Firstly, we all know we will have poor results this next season.....well we are Wednesday......but i just feel that it will not affect the positiveness that currently surrounds the club. All the new guys talk so well and appear to 'get' Wednesday. Yes they are saying what we all long to hear, but they are not going over the top. We need money investing in the infrastructure and they recognise that. The club has already talked to players with a view to joining.......and why wouldnt they. Storch and his team are putting the time....and miles in to meet with future stakeholders. What is not to admire about how professional they have been. Round pegs in round holes. Stay positive, all bodes well.......even if we lose to Bromley!!! In the words of Storchy/Bruce......enjoy the ride. 10 16 42

TamworthWednesdayite Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Only twopenneth? Inflation has changed that since 1968. Great post and agree 100%
hatcheeks Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Excellent post. I first went to Hillsborough in the late 70's and this feels to me like the first time we have ever had owners with a proper long term plan. I'm not quite old enough to know what the owners were like in the 70s and 80s (as a kid you didn't worry about the owners just the players and results) so I may be wrong. 2

FlyingOwl Posted June 17 Posted June 17 One of the biggest green flags across all the new appointments is - no real talk of a premier league push/timeline. Of course - I'm sure there is one. But not making big promises, and focussing on long-term infrastructure and sustainability is totally refreshing. 1 2
