Popular Post Beefheart Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 (edited) Exciting times ahead... a very threadbare squad should see many arrivals. However, as yet unknown financial restrictions could define our summer recruitment. So, have you seen Harry Kane in Lily's gettin a sausage and tomato butty? Do your sources say a deal is possible (your source is your school mate read it on twitter) LETS KEEP IT LIGHT AND HAVE FUN Edited May 3 by Beefheart 8 7 7 2
Popular Post owls101 Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 Was thinking about this thread yesterday! Was a depressing read last summer. Got a very good feeling it will be different this time though. I reckon we've got irons in the fire with free agents already and we'll get rumours pretty soon. 10
Popular Post Plonk Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 So nice to be talking about football again. Welcome back we’ve missed you. 2 1 34

The new set up have shown they have their heads screwed in and solid business acumen so I have to agree with this
areNOTwhatTHEYseem Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I've got a feeling this summer's thread might just be a bit more positive than last year's. God knows we need to get back to talking about the football again... 4
swfcGibbo Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I think it's key we go early this year for the spine of the team. So many to bring in we need the core to be available for the first day of pre season training. 1 1 2
Random Task Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Perversely these total rebuild summers are always the most exciting as a fan. With 20 new players coming in there’s bound to be some 19 year olds from European lower leagues with some bizarre YouTube highlight reel for us all to get over excited about. Hopefully this will be the last one for a while 1 1

WayneTheOwl Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Bannan, Grealish, Bale and Vardy. Need a bit of experience. Be a nice start that. Balance age of squad with some younger lads. Pretty sure they’ll be on our radar and within budget…… 1 2 3 1

I know you can't pick and choose what order the players sign, but we really could do with having a solid foundation in place early this summer. The players to add the 'x factor' can come later (and will probably be loans, I'd imagine), but I really want a well-drilled, solid team ready to hit the ground running in game one. 3
Popular Post Highowl Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 We can get what would be like 3 new signings for nothing if we get Bernard Brown and Weaver back fully fit. That would be a great start. 3 18
andypandy Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Tis refreshing compared to last season, that I am looking fwd to recruitment this summer, But it would be great if we can keep certain players from this season, like Chalobah, M Lowe, Svante, add to that the names already mentioned who are injured, and it gives us a decent platform to build on. 1 2
Owling Wolfe Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I think the most important signing this Summer would be tying down Charles to a new contract, hopefully Arise can sell their ambitions for the club to him. 2 2
