Got to start in front of  Dom. . You can see he will become a very good player and  future captain , all he needs is experience. Dom gives me the heebee geevees, we all know he  panics when playing out from the back and can only pass sideways or backwards when he does have any time on the ball. Weaver though is only 18 ? and already reads the game  and organises other players around him, something Dom has no idea of. It appears we have nothing to lose by giving these young lads a chance, take them out of the firing line every few games to give them a rest, then go again.

Dom has his attributes like pace but when he receives the ball, its like he's got his boots on but still in the box they came in. I don't dislike him but think he's League One stuff. That said, you can't say he's not a tryer.

I noticed Weaver looking around and trying to marshal the team and not being afraid to get stuck in. Looks a good prospect to me.

Saw enough in the cup games to think we have a gem.

For once looking at the bigger picture the best thing we can do is getting 40 plus games under his belt ready for League 1.

Was brought on to man mark Sinclair Armstrong who is a quick strong seasoned centre forward and quickly shoved him in his pocket after a few challenges, gave everyone a rollicking aswell when we was messing about with the ball for to long at the back, looks a confident lad, see how he gets on Tuesday and if he has another good game like he did against leeds we have seen enough to give him a chance in my opinion, unfortunately Gab looks way off the level by a mile, yet to be convinced.

Makes little difference micro assessing players in this current shambolic mess

Focus on one man

I agree, but at the same time it is good to see that we've got some good prospects in the wings.

Got to go 5 at the back. We are a mess.

Palmer Valery Weaver Dom MLowe Amass

Ingelsson Bannan +1

Bailey JLowe

Sit back and go long. No point trying to play football.

We are poor but if not for McNeil we’d have a win and 4 points. Play long and direct, make sides go wide and then defend crosses all game.

No way he should be playing 40 plus games in his break through season, he would burn out and get seriously injured eventually. Obviously my opinion.

On today’s performance I would play Weaver instead of Otegbayo.

Otegbayo is nowhere near championship standard. I’d still be sh*tting my pants if he was lining up for us next season in league 1

To be fair I think it is a back 5, but Otegbayo isn’t a great pivot unfortunately.

I think Weaver has a lot more to his game than Otegbayo, but it’d be a huge amount of responsibility in that role for him. However, he looks to be an excellent communicator which is vital for that position.
