It is also said that Chansiri rejected a set of plans for a training ground revamp because the structure of a piece of land involved did not look lucky.

 

However, Röhl shrugs. “Luck is very important to him. He tries everything,” Röhl says. “I think it’s a cultural thing. You have to accept it. It’s nothing negative.”

While I wasn't happy with the way he touted him self around after season 2, it is very hard to blame him with what he had to work with here.

 

Hopefully he goes on to do well, shame it wasn't with us.

Great article which very much chimes with my perceptions of Röhl and Chansiri. We lost a brilliant manager in Röhl who will flourish even more outside of the Clown show operation Chansiri presides over.

 

The article would suggest Bannan still held Röhl in high regard right to the end.

That we gave Röhl a free pass last season, at home we were absolute garbage... 

 

But we're so placid that it was fine. I like the bloke, but absolute snake from December 2024. Chansiri is terrible, but so can be Röhls behaviour at the same time

Bannan is a gent and will always be respectful. However he did comment make a comment when Pederson took over, about how Pederson had been there when we needed him. Which definitely felt like a diss about Röhl

Well that just confirms what I suspected all along…. The bloke is absolute class
