Having just watched the bbc documentary it seems like the football quality's secondary to the money making for those running the game.

Watching some of those live games over the weekend, they were boring and really low on quality!! Not worth the money in the slightest

The correlation between spend increasing and entertainment value reducing is quite amusing. How many games on TV last season were genuinely entertaining, less than 5?

Our plight should be a huge warning to every Premier League club.

 

How quickly fortunes can change and how deep the fall can be.

 

I still remember the first four games of the 1996/97 season. 12 points from 4 games and top of the league.

 

It turned out to be downhill from there in my view.

Yeah but the EPL is the best most exciting league in the world.  It must be because Sky keeps telling us it is.

Liverpool paid £125 million for one player. That could have bought SWFC and had money left over to probably buy a lower league club.

It was great going back to school of mainly man u fans and being top of the league.
