I simply can't forgive the decision to give McNeil that spot kick yesterday. Despite all the sorryful experiences lately supporting the Owls, we the fans who are doing everything possible to help the clubs situation absolutely deserved a professional attitude to that penalty. 

Most of the clubs plight is out of anyone's hands but that was our own, ridiculous, sentiment based shot in the foot.  We deserved for once , especially after the inept " performance " against the pigs, to have just a chance of celebrating a potential win. You could tell a mile off which side McNeil was going to shoot , we even did the same for Ugbo and both those sentimental decisions cost us. We pay our money and turn up to see us give us the best chance of winning.

Despite being happy at the performance and that Cadamattri and McNeil were chosen ahead of Ugbo. I feel that penalty fiasco might just make me feel like not devoting any more of my time this season.

In Pederson's post match interview, to rub salt in the wound, he said the decision to allow McNeil to take the pen was not based on his hatrick potential!! 

An admission and apology is necessary asap

 

We are down anyway. I'm sure if we were pushing for promotion they'd have given it to Bannan or soneone else.

Bad decision only trumped by bringing Ugbo on to take it

Bannan should have taken it, but it's not the end of the world.

To you???   EVERYBODY who plays football has missed penalties including all the greats Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo...where does this entitled poo come from

Penalties are missed sometimes

They are missed but it was very easy to see which way he's going and it was an awful pen, it is what it is anyway, Bannan will be on the next one I'm sure, if we get 1... 

In the great scheme of things this decision barely matters at all. At most, it warrants a slow sigh, not a massive rant demanding an apology...

And if Bannan missed?? McNeil was quoted the best finisher at the club by Röhl etc. Luck isn't on our side at the moment, the lad is on a hat trick, for me he should have taken it.

Have not lost any sleep over it but did feel a bit unprofessional.

Aftet the farce of the Ugbo penalty last season v Millwall (I think) i am surprised it has been repeated.

Sam Ellis never missed one ......the one he scored at hull was so bad they never let him take another

The results don't matter, and we had an opportunity to give our young striker a hatrick. Hopefully next time he can slot it away.

So what if you can't forgive? What you gonna do? Write to the club for an apology.
