I think around 6 ' bouncers' per stand split into pairs and strategically placed  should be able to deal with isolated issues  like this pretty comfortably.

They are split between the different stands, 2 groups on the away end, 1 on T1 north, 1 under the scoreboard and 1 in the south east corner pitch side.

But again what do people expect? We've what 13 players and most of them should be bench warmers or playing u21s and they have just had to play 3 games in 6 days.

WTF…..so you expect people to start fighting because a bunch of young professional footballers have had to play 3 games in 6 days?

To be honest, I think there's some truth in it. Can't be a coincidence that during the past 3 years of decline, we've had more "incidents" than I've ever known. Sheffield United had a similar rate of trouble during the 6 years in league one, if not worse.

Do arrest rates go up and down in relation to our position in the league?

Seems to be a lots of this happening a lately. Is it drink or coke?

Was on a weekend away last month with some old mates and we were chatting to a barman and said we had noticed more two hattish behaviour than normal, "aye" he said, "usually they just stumble home when drunk but that crap they are shoving up their noses sends them crackers"

news flash

a lot of our fans are utter morons

We have the reputation of having the shitttiest fans in the country. Missiles, racial chants and fighting among ourselves. Great to be a Wednesdayite at the moment.

Weird thing to care about, who cares how many were left at the end

Does anyone know how our attendances stack up against the pigs? 🤣🤣

Looked to me like the instigator was having a go at people for leaving after their 3rd goal and then started throwing punches.

As you say, his young daughter was in tears after witnessing it and had to chase him out of the stadium.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Hope he’s found and banned.

If he's pissed at people leaving early, would hate to see how he'd act towards the 10k that couldn't be bothered to turn up.

Seriously though, if "fans" are going to start fighting amongst themselves every time we're losing this season, we're simply going to accumulate a ridiculous amount of fines and more bans, diverting important funds to frankly embarrassing things. If we're only getting 20-23k through the door we can't afford to lose fans to bans!

We seem to have gotten away with throwing stuff at the united players (this season and last) so hopefully the fans involved yesterday will be punished and not the club, again.

Used to see it all the time at gigs where we were DJing...group of lads coming in...straight to the toilets before buying a drink and the crap coke was stepped on that much that they'd go in three times in an hour and they'd end up arguing with themselves 🤣
