Don’t most clubs employ some of the more experienced door-staff types as their response stewards? I know for a fact they always used to down at Plymouth. Presumably still do.

There’s a funny little older gentleman who stewards down at Argyle. He is quite verbal shall we say, but can’t be more than 5ft 2. Bald headed, he always reminds me of that little bald fella in the Benny Hill show, who Benny used to slap on the head. Fair play to him though.

Looked to me like the instigator was having a go at people for leaving after their 3rd goal and then started throwing punches.

So by getting punched in front of his kids I’m sure he’ll definitely be itching to get back to Hillsborough with his family, and stay until the very last second

What goes through these numpties heads (nothing)

Someone on the Wednesday Week podcast also said that at the United game that someone ran down the steps of one of the stands and punched another Wednesday fan.

If I heard correctly

Was a scrap at the front of the Kop against the pigs last weekend.

Couple of young 'lads' set about a "normal" looking c.40 year old, looked like he'd never had a fight in his life yet took 2 or 3 punches to the face from these "lads" like a pro.

Anyone having a go at someone with kids leaving early is a full weight pillock. As any parent knows going home early from almost anything is a likely scenario, especially so when it’s cold and weeing it down

It seemed to be the ‘adult’ with the kids that caused the argument and threw the first punch though.

Then the kids had to leave early because there dad was getting thrown out.

These people sound like they need counselling and possibly a couple of nights in a cell.

And banning from attending football matches.

The stewards are probably on around £12/hr. Probably not worth receiving a broken nose/assault. Just pretend not to see the incident, also save on a load of paperwork/filing report. Take the money and go home. The yellow jackets are a mere box ticking exercise/satisfying Elf n Serfty.

It definitely sets something off in them. Like a chemical reaction of anger, irrational thinking and anxiety

The kids have most likely seen their wannabe "Rocky Dad" throw punches before. Probably knocks their mum about etc.

The club will have the culprit on CCTV so I doubt he'll be coming back either hopefully.
