Brinsworthowl Posted yesterday at 18:16 Posted yesterday at 18:16 Getting more and more concerned about long term effects of getting beat week in week out so far this season and for the remainder of the games. Not doing anyone any good...players supporters backroom staff etc. Only one man to blame i know but I worry it's going to take longer to turn this ship around once new owners arrive. 3
OwususFirstTouch Posted yesterday at 18:18 Posted yesterday at 18:18 There's certainly going to be a losing culture going into next season that we're going to have to try and change. Our recruitment strategy has to take that into account, lets go and sign some f**king winners. 1
meggoisgod Posted yesterday at 18:20 Posted yesterday at 18:20 Hopefully we can start the rebuild in January with some new additions under new owners 1
Mr Grey Man Posted yesterday at 18:21 Posted yesterday at 18:21 This is what being crap and getting relegated looks like. 1 3
Kopparberg Posted yesterday at 18:22 Posted yesterday at 18:22 I think quite a few that are (commendably) fighting for us now on the pitch will leave. It’s got to be very tough being a player for us right now - just nicking the odd win would do us wonders. It’s the hope that kills you but maybe by January with Cooper and Redmond and other players back it might slightly improve
andrew1974 Posted yesterday at 18:27 Posted yesterday at 18:27 Everyone is marking time until next season. Even the players. A lot out of contract, manager that’s probably not going to be here, no a lot to look forward to short term
neo hippy Posted yesterday at 18:27 Posted yesterday at 18:27 We need at least 10 new players between now and the start of next season Too much change for this season to matter that way.

Provided of course we aren't completely limited as to who we can sign next season. 1

In fact, this isn't what getting relegated looks like really. Yes, teams will enter a season knowing they will do well to stay up, but very few, if any, know they've been effectively relegated before the first ball is even kicked. This season is effectively meaningless on the pitch. We are turning up week in week out to get beat and the rest of the division knows it. The whole situation makes an absolutely mockery of the competition. A damming indictment of the previous owner and, to a lesser extent, the rules and governance which allowed him to do it.. If ever a season should have an asterisk next to it. Edited 22 hours ago by SiJ 5
onslow Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Limp on through Xmas Clean start in January 23 game mini season go again judge them at the end of May 1
Brinsworthowl Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago Genuinely not judging any of the players.... any of the management... or any of the supporters who are turning up. Just really concerns me how much damage getting beat week after week after week is doing in the long term. 1

Brinsworthowl Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago Gonna be a mighty big job turning this around 2
TrickyTrev Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago No doubt there will be a losing culture at the club when the season ends, but I’d hope when we get new owners, over the summer they’ll be replacing the manager, coaching staff and the vast majority of the players we have at the club. I’m hoping the majority of what will be starting the season at the club in August won’t have been here over the current season. 1 1
