The fans stepped up month ago and ensured half a million quid flew into the clubs accounts. The situation is difficult ATM.
Popular Post Daz Posted yesterday at 20:53 Popular Post Posted yesterday at 20:53 How many other clubs in the 92 would get a 22,000 crowd on a cold November day, marooned at the bottom of the league on minus points and condemned to relegation, after 30 years of atrocious leadership and season after season of poor finishing positions hopping between the Championship and League 1? I doubt there would be many more than 8 in the entire leagues. 4 2 1 6

While walking back to my car from the match today, I scrolled through the Matchday thread and I saw that there were lots of fans in posting in that thread that I’m guessing weren’t at the game - it’s nigh on impossible to get a signal in Hillsborough during matches. There was one particular prominent OwlsTalker in that thread that was talking the moral high ground a few months ago claiming he’d sacrificed going to the match as his contribution to rid us of Chansiri but it very much appears that he wasn’t there today and I don’t think he’s been since Chansiri left. i just want to say that the club needs you now. Our new owners will fully understand the situation we are in and expect highs and lows until they are in charge. Chansiri tried to slit the club's throat and hoped it died but it didn't and we can look forward finally. Fk off chansiri you pathetic little man syndrome.
Basement Jack Posted yesterday at 21:00 Posted yesterday at 21:00 We just need the takeover now Everyone is exhausted The new owners will have done the homework. A few thousand less on the gate won’t make a difference now especially with nothing to really play for 1
frastheowl Posted yesterday at 21:00 Posted yesterday at 21:00 Football fans are all about supporting your club through thick and thin, the good times and the bad. But any sane mind must surely accept, that even for the most avid of football fan, sitting and watching your team get beat EVERY SINGLE WEEK, is tough going. For me, the fans have done their bit over the last month...they've demonstrated their power in forcing out a rogue owner who took them for granted, and then turned up and saved the short term future of the club when called upon. Turning up and sitting in the freezing cold watching us getting d!<ked every week is too much for some...and I completely get it. I'll be honest, I'm a ST holder, I haven't missed a home game this season...but if the matches won't be a priority for me between now and the end of the season. If there's anything else that clashes, where I'd ordinarily choose the match, I won't be from now on. There's nothing gratifying watching something you love get humiliated every single game. 1

Popular Post horny owl Posted yesterday at 21:50 Popular Post Posted yesterday at 21:50 I was a stay away fan for the last year when ch****** was here I said repeatedly that I wouldn’t return until he’d gone As soon as he left I bought membership and go to every home game I can get to that doesn’t clash with work Today I thought the lads played really well and I’m sticking with them because I’m loving being a Wednesday fan again so there 5 4 2
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU Posted yesterday at 22:33 Posted yesterday at 22:33 It's a shame some people stayed away, we played some lovely football at times today We were undone by poor defending 2 of the goals came from shots outside the box, no one closed the shooter down, the other was from a poorly defended set piece Obviously missing the penalty didn't help, and Bailey should have scored when he went one on one with the keeper A couple of the players, Otegbayo and Jamal Lowe had their best games in a Wednesday shirt for me Charlie McNeil, Harry Amass had cracking games as well, as did Jan Valery It was strange to see Bannan so high up the pitch, but he linked the play really well I thought it was Palmer's best game in a while, Ingellson had a good game, and Fusire was much more on it this week I thought everyone had a good game, it was very encouraging, just a shame we don't seem to be able to defend 1 2 5 Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

I know these things take time but the longer this goes on the harder it will be. Feels like the euphoria of him being gone is starting to die down. We need that new person or persons to come in and ignite it again 3
Watto Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I went to the derby and probably won't be back again this season, was horrible seeing us embarrassed like that. Not been since Portsmouth last season and been a season ticket holder for many years. Chansiri is the reason some like me haven't or don't want to go back, yes I know he's gone and that should be celebrated but once you've got out of the habit and the team is losing every week, then you find yourself watching it at home or watching sky sports news. Around 20k Wednesdayites there yesterday so around 10k missing from the United game. Roll on next season under new ownership and a competitve squad hopefully.

The true test will be when STs go on sale. For a team in our position the fan support is nothing short of amazing. I prefaced by saying if you can afford to go… not going because we keep getting battered or are uncompetitive is not an excuse

My wife said ‘why don’t you go off and enjoy yourself at the match’ only game my wife has been to Windass scored from our own half. She’s got unreasonable expectations on how much enjoyment you can get at S6 3

Fans have contributed greatly over the past 6 months with very little in re
