By the sound of what the administrators have said, the push to get funds back into the club via ticket sales, merchandise and other fund raising initiatives such as on here and via the Trust have been a roaring success, and not one that many clubs at this level could match in similar circumstances.

It was actually quite emotional being back at Hillsborough for the Oxford match, and it was clear I wasn't the only one - there were several grown men with tears in their eyes near us.

One thing that this past month has made clear is the strength of feeling among the fanbase - everyone will be doing what they can to support the club they love, and hopefully that's going to have helped set us up for a brighter future to come...

I just think it’s not a good enough excuse to say I don’t go becuase it was cold and we aren’t going to win and it’s sh i t.

You can either afford to go in which case you should go (or you aren’t the super fan you think)

All Clubs have fair weather supporters I thought we wanted to show we were hardcore?

If everyone who said they were boycotting Hillsborough because of DC, then we'd be selling out most games.

The reality is that supporters won't attend out of mere loyalty. They won't pay to watch a team who are already relegated who barely score and don't create many chances. Nor will they want to watch a team coached to just try to keep the ball without doing anything with it.

You can see people getting fed up in the stands. Kids with gloomy faces walking out of the stadium.

Even as a season ticket holder, I’m starting to now question how long I can keep this going for.

Especially for any upcoming midweek games where it’s going to be freezing or banging it down, stopping where it’s warm and watching on the box is looking more appealing.

The fans just need something right now, anything to get excited about, but personally, I feel the players and manager aren’t rewarding the fans. Yeah, I get the bigger picture and not putting anything aside, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot

Regardless of the situation the club finds itself in, people aren’t going to pay £30, given our fate is sealed, our terrible home form, the fact most people can watch it on a stick and the weather or time of year, it’s as simple as that.

There's going to have to be some serious price discounting to keep fans going for the second half of the season or some interesting additions in the January window or something in between.

Most 'hardcore' will have STs so to expect those who basically are being asked to pay expensive Championship prices for the privilege of seeing their team battered on the road to becoming a L1 club ought not be criticised. The true test will be when STs go on sale. For a team in our position the fan support is nothing short of amazing.

Any new owner would have looked into attendances and know that they aren't going to sell out the stadium at the moment.

We are a 'distressed asset' that needs investment but the rewards are huge for them if they do.

We keep having to climb mountains due to always conceding far too many goals. A top priority to help change results and get more bums on seats has to be a couple of defenders. We've never replaced Loovens and we need a couple with his qualities.

I’ve been a part timer for years. Had season tickets all through the 90’s , went all over away , pre season games , zenith data cup, all that. I’m now a reservist fan. Turned out for Oxford game, Norwich and Pigs, but I’ll be honest that’s probably me done for the season. Might go Boxing Day for the day out, but that’s it. Bad customer I know 😂

in the words of Brian Potter…..Build it and they will come

Get Megson in and ppl will flock back

I know you're trying to wind people up Liam, but

A load said get Chansiri out and they would flock back

A load said drop the prices and they would flock back

A load will say If it wasn't the run up to Christmas people would flock back

A load will say If it wasn't two home games on the spin people would flock back

Thing is, this could be the most important time in our history, and people are not flocking back

Some Wednesdayites will always find an excuse not to go

It's true what the Blunts say about us, we're a big game crowd

We only turn up for Derby games and play offs

It's disappointing

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Even if they made it a quid to get in people would still find excuses not to go

Unfortunately the product on the pitch has been very poor all year, even before the shambles of the summer

The derby disaster has played a big part in this. That derby really did matter.
