He's worth a place in the starting line up but he'd do even better as a striker if we played a proper two up top Why? How would He feel if they refused to let him take it for a hat trick? Not like He couldn't be trusted to score, not long ago Pedersen said He is the best finisher at the club. 1 1 1
WimJunk Posted yesterday at 20:25 Posted yesterday at 20:25 He played like Maradona first half and Madonna in the second. He's got a finish on him. Reminds me a bit of di piedi (for those old enough). Unless he's scoring, what does he do? 1
owlsbaltipies Posted yesterday at 20:37 Posted yesterday at 20:37 Cadamarteri is only 20 to be fair. In a normal world he wouldn’t be leading the line for us in the championship right now, he'd have had a few league one loans to improve his game or be coming on as sub with good senior strikers around him to learn from. McNeil has come through Man Utd’s Academy and is 2 years older so he should be a better player right now. Being home grown from our academy doesn’t give him a free pass but people are maybe expecting too much? 2 1 2

Unfortunately he then does the selfish thing taking the penalty off Bannan and really took the gloss of things. Still if he can repeat the wider performance he’s got a chance to contribute. I think I must be watching a different Cadamarteri to some of you. If Ugbo had turned in the performance he did today he’d have been getting absolute pelters. Do you honestly think he took the penalty off Bannan If Bannan had wanted to take the penalty he would have done. It was Inglesson who actually had the ball though and he passed it to McNeill. 2

He linked up the play brilliantly. He was also one of the very few who appeared to show any effort in the poo show performance against the pigs. 5

But, yeh, he played well today.

Him and Cadamartiri will be ruthless next season for us. We don't have much to celebrate right now but I think these two will be bright lights next season, so give them as much playing time this season as possible. I think there's a player in McNeil. Technically very good, just needs to find some consistency. Hopefully, if he gets a good run of games between now and the end of the season, we could give him a great opportunity to become a key player next season. Cadamarteri however, I'm beginning to have serious doubts about. I don't think he's any better a player than when he first burst onto the scene...in fact, I think he's regressed, but he now doesn't seem to play with the naive confidence he had initially. Yes, he's physically bulked up, but his all round play has too many flaws in it at the minute. The chance he missed today was poor...not because he missed it per se, but because he never looked like he was going to score. So I'd like to think McNeil could become a important player for us (not convinced he'll be top scorer however), but Cadamarteri needs to get himself back on track pronto (which fingers crossed he will), otherwise, it might be time to move him on if the right offer comes along again. 1 3

Ugbo should lose his bench place to Moses and then Brown when he is back. Let’s find out what we have. We know what Ugbo is But the swear filter won't let us say it. 1

island owl Posted yesterday at 20:52 Posted yesterday at 20:52 He played well today, something to build on

Onge Posted yesterday at 20:56 Posted yesterday at 20:56 Admittedly I didn't see the game today but he's never impressed me. I'd love him to prove me wrong and come good but I can't see it happening...
