We’ve lost games like that even with a competitive squad.

We’ve won games and not played anywhere near what the boys did yesterday.

We ran out of steam, simple as that. Last season when we had a full squad we would have brought subs on with fresh legs on. For a variety of reasons we couldn't  do that yesterday and we paid the price. We need more players to cover for these situations, hopefully the injury list will improve soo and possibly the new owners will get sorted in time to take over before/during the window and will sign a couple or more players to help us out.
