Some good play today but if we can't score pens and then let the opposition have 2 free headers in our box for the 2nd goal then it's inevitable we will get beat every week

Shock! Wednesday unable to defend set pieces. Hardly new is it. Been like this for the last few years

Yeah. Other teams defenders seem be a foot taller than our (remaining) lads, and physically stronger, next season I think we’ll be looking at these types of defenders again.

I keep saying it over and again he won't be our manager next season, i wouldnt worry.

I have said previously let the new owners set up the club with the right people,  ceo, commercial manager , chief scout and a director of football etc. Then things can be done in a planned and well thought out way, there is no rush. We need a new beginning with a new template for the future. We haven't had a plan and strategy for decades, this is the time for someone to change all that.

Pedersen let that second half drift and did nothing to change it until we went 3-2 down.

Wont be here next season hopefully. Needed Redmond and Cooper on earlier when you could see we were starting to tire.

Exactly what I was saying at the time.

You could see there were some tired legs out there and he needed to freshen things up by using his subs.

Preston made plenty of subs and it showed.

Why did Pedersen wait until we'd gone behind to make his first sub after 76 minutes.

It was the same at Millwall, he acted too late and it cost us.

Moore was often criticised for refusing to make subs before the 65th minute. This bloke is worse. It's why you have 9 players on the bench.

Do we have a set piece coach?

Because the first goal leaving two of their players unmarked on the edge of the penalty area at a corner was bad. But to not have anyone marking Smith on a corner was criminal.

Totally get what you are saying ...but i have doubts about him, ive sort of seen glimpse now and then but yes poor players but we seem to be going backwards then at the start of the season.

Id rather go for someone else personally.

We're going backwards because the players workload is completely fvcked. How are you not able to accept or see that?

I honestly don't know what people expect.

How can you properly judge anyone under these conditions?

He's actually got this bunch playing decent football. The problem is the quality and fitness is fvcked.

People keep saying he should be more pragmatic but what's the point? So we should get relegated but not even tey to play football and be so defensive that fans have nothing to even shout about.

I would happily see Pedersen stay. I think he could do a good job BUT I would rather any new owner pick who they think is best.

I just can't understand how well we did at Millwall and then play so well today and still and play like we did against blunts with 30 000 shouting them on we don't want to go into next season with losing mentality

Are you happy with Pederson ? Yes i know we have a very poor squad but, seriously genuinely are you happy to stick with him and let him buy players ?

Yes on both counts.

He won't get to buy players though. I'm hoping the new owner employs a good recruitment team and get's them in place as soon as humanly possible. It will save a fortune and quite possibly might make a few quid as well.

It largely doesn't matter this season.

Addressing the fundamental issues with the club and getting it onto a solid footing is the priority.

Absolutely. Starting with a CEO who'd oversee the long term planning.

it does . if we dont have at least 10 core players in 2nd half of this season who will play next season .

we may have only 2/3 players who will still be here next season . no club can completely start from scratch with 20 new players from the summer and in frees and loans .
