owls maniac Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago The whole experience is depressing right now. The ground is an absolute tip and just adds to the grim atmosphere. We are in dire need of a reboot. 1
Owls77 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago We had the initial bounce back but the reality is you don’t win games, folk won’t pay to watch you get beat every week. 1

It's all about Shoeless Joe Jackson getting his chance isn't it? Apologies all round. Btw, I'm not the only who gets it wrong I remember reading a review of the film when it was first released and it's stuck with me all these years. 'people talk about the wonder of cinema but Field of Dreams is the cinema of wonder' Love it.

For many people, under the previous regime's pricing strategy it priced them out of attending as many games as they would love to in order to support their football team The pricing put an end to that It's not just about going when they're winning To those who can still afford to go - that's great - but let's not start digging at those less fortunate who can't 6 Owlstalk Shop
Nannan Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago I think it's high time we got away from singling people out as part timers and bashing them for it. I'd love us to have half the season ticket holders we have now, and double the occasional supporters. We should be aiming for 5 times the occasional support. We get more revenue, we sell more merchandise, and more people identify as Wednesdayites You don't get theatregoers abusing people at Lion King - "Where we you when we had Marti Pellow here murdering songs in Blood Brothers?" We need to start thinking commercially
Stoop Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago When the new owners are in place I think we’ll see a big uptake in season tickets when they go on sale Until then it’s going to be mid to low 20’s for the rest of the season as you can’t expect people to pay up to £100 for a day out to see us get beat comfortably by bang average championship sides 2
Goose_ Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It’s remarkable so many are coming still given how bad we are. Not won at home since April and only twice this year 1 2
4evaowl Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Our home record has been poor for a long time. People won't pay good money to watch this. Last week against United was a real kick in the guts too and Pederson can only set us up to try to keep possession but he's been unable to coach us to improve us defensively or in the attacking third.

If we were in the Premier League and doing well, people would find the money, If that isn't the case there's no point in investing in the club surely? I don't believe it is a financial thing,it could be a small factor, but it's mainly because we're not playing very well.
Warhurstsleftfoot Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago Packages were for signing up to 4 games. As a few said on here, at this time of year some could only make 3 which made the package no better value if you didn’t fork out for a membership. Maybe it should have been a 3 game from 4 package but too late now. So thousands of walk ups for SU game at eye watering prices, following on from big turn outs for Oxford/Norwich with big spends on concourses. Fans have been spaffing money like drunken sailors on shirts and other merch. Buying sponsorships, mascots, tours as well as donating to fund raising initiatives. Because some didn’t want to spend £31-41 on a winter afternoon when some are getting the trimmings out then I’m going to give them a pass given what’s gone on at S6 with DC’s fan friendly pricing policy

Perhaps they were all in the Carling queues, seeing as it was posted at 15:41h. Did you take it then or much earlier, please? In the run up to Christmas, people in our commercialised world think of presents for their children after ensuring they're warm. Tickets at £31 - £41 come a very distant third, possibly lower. I trust this clarifies for you. UTO
