Popular Post Jeffjohnsonmyhero Posted Friday at 09:26 Popular Post Posted Friday at 09:26 I know we are going down,But look at this club they had to play at Birminghams Stadium,They were in league 1 .With proper management and signing the right players they are showing what can be achieved, We are a much bigger club,That for years have not been run right. I am feeling the most positive for years, The new owners who ever they are will run it right hopefully a new training ground is a must ,CEO and director of football. Signing young players to develop and sell if needed at the RIGHT Price .Not long now Brothers and Sisters onwards and upwards 3 3 10
niallzi Posted Friday at 09:31 Posted Friday at 09:31 I work with a lot of Coventry lads and they're all saying the same thing, we're in the best possible position now despite the current dire situation on the pitch. 3 1
Popular Post WimJunk Posted Friday at 09:41 Popular Post Posted Friday at 09:41 I would say we are a bigger club than Coventry, but not by a huge amount. They won the FA cup in 1987 and we won the league cup in 1991. We were on a par in the league, in the 80's and 90's. We have a bit bigger fanbase. 7 5

matthefish2002 Posted Friday at 09:58 Posted Friday at 09:58 I agree things are brighter for Wednesday then they were a few months ago but think people are getting carried away that we are bound to get back into the Premier league within 3 or 4 seasons. Who can forget the Carlos had a dream chant with the line 'We are on our way back' , that went well. 2
The_Ghost_Of_91 Posted Friday at 10:35 Posted Friday at 10:35 (edited) A lot is riding on us getting a good ambitious owner. Edited Friday at 10:35 by The_Ghost_Of_91 1 2

We havent been a big club for 30 years or more. However, if all goes well we should be again in the future 2 3

For example our average all-time league positions and number of seasons in the top flight have taken a real hammering over the last 25 years in particular. 2 2
TrickyTrev Posted Friday at 10:57 Posted Friday at 10:57 With the way Chansiri was, he was always going to make things as bad as possible for us when he left. I argued for a few years that we needed to force the idiot out, loads of clubs (Coventry included) had some really rough years before finally recovering and then moving past us while we pottered around going nowhere fast. We are now entering that process and it’s going to be a rough couple of years but we will come out the other side and this is preferable to another 10 years with that idiot in charge. 1 1
Popular Post Nannan Posted Friday at 10:58 Popular Post Posted Friday at 10:58 Much of Coventrys success was a result of the work Mark Robins did there. Massively underrated coach 1 9

unkastav Posted Friday at 11:01 Posted Friday at 11:01 Fair to play to Cov, they've done a fantastic job the last decade However I also hope they implode and are back in League one in the next 5 years. 1

You can't pick and choose what stats to use when looking back. 4
