I work with a lot of Coventry lads and they're all saying the same thing, we're in the best possible position now despite the current dire situation on the pitch.

I agree things are brighter for Wednesday then they were a few months ago but think people are getting carried away that we are bound to get back into the Premier league within 3 or 4 seasons.

Who can forget the Carlos had a dream chant with the line 'We are on our way back' , that went well.

Fine, but the majority of those figures stem from the past. We havent been a big club for 30 years or more. However, if all goes well we should be again in the future

They don't though - that's how using all time records incorporate everything - good and bad. For example our average all-time league positions and number of seasons in the top flight have taken a real hammering over the last 25 years in particular.

With the way Chansiri was, he was always going to make things as bad as possible for us when he left.

I argued for a few years that we needed to force the idiot out, loads of clubs (Coventry included) had some really rough years before finally recovering and then moving past us while we pottered around going nowhere fast.

We are now entering that process and it’s going to be a rough couple of years but we will come out the other side and this is preferable to another 10 years with that idiot in charge.

Fair to play to Cov, they've done a fantastic job the last decade

However I also hope they implode and are back in League one in the next 5 years.

Yesterday,  last week, last season or 20 odd years ago... they're all in the past. You can't pick and choose what stats to use when looking back.
