Meh. It’s a perfectly reasonable attendance under the circumstances. Good, even.

Funny thing about number-watching is that we’d all be just as proud to support a tiny club with tiny attendances - almost more so, in fact - so who cares?

The obsession about attendances on both sides is so odd, who gives a ****

We should probably stop the attendance talk once and for all.

23k is more than we got today.

Eh?

That's a great crowd considering the crap we have put up with.

Not when the administrator has budgeted for 30k with cheap tickets. And not when we're trying to have a pop at them lot for a poor midweek attendance.

The administrator has budgeted for thirty thousand fans attending to watch a team decimated in the summer sat on -4, 21 points from safety?

Get yourself home, have a pint of water and a lie down mate. Hopefully head isn’t too sore tomorrow.

It's chalk and cheese the positions both clubs are in.

I'm amazed we got 22k considering the state we are in.

Can't blame anyone for not turning up. We keep losing at home and the season is dead.

23k at home, rock bottom, -4 points, certain relegation, very poor last home game,

Outstanding seeing Christmas is.looming.

Why the boycott today ?? 19k home fans. People said they were staying away cos of the previous owner, KW asks for fans to turn up and support team and staff . So where was everyone today , poor.

Ah, so the administrators have told you that have they.

Any idea on how is likely to take over?

Agree in the circumstances it’s very good, but don’t forget that season tickets are auto counted in the attendance.

Wednesday have 19K season ticket holders, so even if no one turns up the attendance can’t be lower than 19K.

United have 23K season ticket holders, so even if no one goes the attendance can’t be lower than 23K.

Today taking into account the 1.5K Preston fans….there was a 2K non ST holder walk up walk up.

United had 25,785 against Portsmouth, so with 1.5K fans Pompey fans there was a similar 2K non ST walk up.

Math not my strongest…United had just over 1K non season ticket holders buying tickets….not 2K.

Lets me honest here ….its not nice attending matches knowing the result is pretty much irrelevant.

Every fan has hope….hope to be promoted….hope to stay up…but when that hope is taken away it’s tough.

Sometimes think the most passionate fans needs a break just to help sooth their mental health.

The irony is today’s match was entertaining and Wednesday actually played well….especially 1st half.

20k home fans at the start of Advent with 3 festive games coming up and the team on -4 isn't too bad. It's a very bleak time, but we will be, Avon.
