He'll have a very good career at Championship level or above, easily

Just cant see that at all. He's ok,. definitely not a wing back but I think long term  he'll end up at League 1/2 level

Think we are deliberately not bringing young players in for fear they will then count in squad size and stop us signing anyone. Hopefully this silliness with change once takeover complete. Maybe it doesn’t count as an appearance if they only play 5 mins. Bonkers rules. Thanks EFL

This negativity and infighting needs to stop. It is not the players or managers fault we are in this mess. This is all DC. Draw a line in the sand. Accept we are going down and be happy we have a future and hope. Yes it’s morale sapping getting beat each game. But let’s not all turn on the players, manager and each other. We need to cling that hope of a better future

Where have I got it in for Pedersen? I’ve praised him often enough this season. In the various posts where I’ve been critical, I’ve also stated that he’s got his hands tied behind his back, legs tied together and blindfolded too.

Thing is regardless of the lack of quality on the bench he owes it to his senior pros in particular who are playing 90 minutes most games to protect them more particularly in three game weeks.

These players are struggling both with physical and mental fatigue and this season will f**k them up

for the next 2 or 3 campaigns it’s that simple. The manager should be looking to limit this damage as much as possible and let’s be honest he talks enough about the human side of a player.

If you think I’m having a go then fair enough but  if you look at him on the touchline last night he looked as drained as the players, gone is the enthusiasm and drive he showed at the start of the campaign.

Understandable really but as you say he’s the manager. He’s doing a good job in the  circumstances but all I’m saying he needs to trust his bench more and limit the damage being done to his players the best he can.

Thanks for the reply. I misunderstood the comments in your post. I apologise for that.

No problem. It’s a game of opinions after all. Thing is I don’t see him being the right fit for us in League 1. Having the principles he has with the likely squad at his disposal I just see another struggle next season. The only way he stays on is if his fellow Dane takes over as I suspect Pedersen is a reason he’s interested?

I've seen a few people criticising Fusire with snidy little comments. I can only assume you lot are watching different matches to me because he's been one of our better players this season despite his lack of experience and support. One of the very few players in our team who has the pace to play at a high level.

The lad's improving every game and did very well in a very tough assignment last night against two very good players down that flank. He'll have a very good career at Championship level or above, easily.

League Two at the very best

I don't  have a problem with Pedersen. I think he will play a different way if he has a full squad.

I think he's  trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. From what I can understand he wants to play the Red Bull way. High pressure, rapid transition and 433. We just don't  have people who fit that system and can play it competently. Hard to do as well when all the players are knac kered from playing too many games.

All fair points. Just think the recruitment restrictions will continue into next season plus there will be a massive hangover from being the worst ever team in championship history. Of course it’s not his fault as this situation would probably get the better of most managers but I do think he could’ve looked at alternative solutions within the group with regards to us as an attacking force. Very difficult with the resources he has but persevering with J Lowe and Ugbo has been a complete waste of time.

Thornton & Johnson showed enough in Caraboa Cup games (like Weaver!)

to justify at least coming on around 65 mins with their youth and energy.

OR/+

To Start certain matches....... SO...

Valery has to play RWB.

Leaving midfield even more weak...

BUT

     Valery RWB    AMASS LWB

THORNTON Bannan Ingelsson

*

Although.... we deffo need a ball winning midfielder!

Short term though.... suspect Valery continues in the middle + Redmond plays RWB WHEN THEY PLAY TOGETHER THAT IS. As Valery likely to be away on International duty during December......
