Thought we showed some genuine quality this evening and were unlucky to not come way with a point. 

 

That shot from Baz. Absolutely ludicrous. I wish it had gone in. 

 

Hard lines to both McNeil and Lowe. Both shots deserved more. 

 

Overall I thought the team looked better tonight. If only we had the squad depth. The moment Millwall bring on their subs, they score.

Yeah, 46 League matches and all the additional cup matches. We'll need a much bigger and better squad for sure. The only good thing about next season is that we should be competitive.

Probably  because they ARE youngsters. Many of them have already been injured when our hand was forced to play them in the cup. Some of those injuries could be career threatening. The Championship has a lot of blood and thunder about it like some of the tackles dished out tonight. As well as being still predominantly boys many of these youngest can be over enthusiastic and haven’t worked out when you should pull out of a dangerous tackle or developed street wise play. There will be the odd exception of 17 years old that have developed physically and mentally but they are the exception

Not sure on this, But how many Local Derbies will we be facing next season ?

Good point, though it might make it more difficult to win matches with local bragging rights at stake. We've not exactly excelled in such matches of late, have we? Still they are more atmospheric for sure.

Notts County and Possibly Chezzy Next Season as well ? Though Chesterfield's away allocation is about 1200 to 1500 compared to County's which is roughly about 4,000.
