Popular Post O'Neill Donaldson Posted Tuesday at 15:17 Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 15:17 First of all, merge with our neighbours sounds like something DC would dream up… glad they were told where to go. Secondly, 5-7 actual bids is unreal. It goes to show what we all knew and what our previous owner denied time and time again that we are such an attractive proposition for any potential owner, even with League 1 pending. I trust KW and the rest of the admin team to pick the right owner for us and I can’t wait for it to be announced so we can start to move forward. UTO 1 14

cowl Posted Tuesday at 15:28 Posted Tuesday at 15:28 If you're an outsider to football (and let's face it, most of those bidding probably will be), then it doesn't strike me as that daft to at least ask the question as to whether such an idea would be a goer. No doubt they'll have been set right on it as soon as it was even uttered, but I don't think it's a bad thing the bidders are at least looking at the whole situation with fresh (even if naive) eyes. 1
sibon Posted Tuesday at 15:31 Posted Tuesday at 15:31 It’s a good idea. We should give it serious consideration 2
Hornsby Posted Tuesday at 15:35 Posted Tuesday at 15:35 Tell me you don't know about football without telling me. Find a City that has 2 clubs that regularly attract 25K each, merge them, and they'll get 50k for each game. Stands to reason. I mean, I can't find a flaw in that plan. As long as we've got a Sheffield club to support, eh? 4

Box_Man Posted Tuesday at 15:37 Posted Tuesday at 15:37 Happy to merge as long as we are called Sheffield Wednesday, play in blue and white and have nice new shiny blue stadium. 8
Popular Post aussieowl87 Posted Tuesday at 15:37 Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 15:37 Defo Americans making that suggestion. 11
