slow83 Posted yesterday at 16:55 Posted yesterday at 16:55 Well I’ve only sat on the Kop for 25 years, it’s certainly been a lot more recent than that. I think the last time I saw a seller walking around was more like 5 ish years. Just now, Harrysgame said: That was 20 odd years ago, used to throw his cap in the air, good value he was.
General_Grievous Posted yesterday at 17:11 Posted yesterday at 17:11 Current programme is pretty decent imo. some good reads in there. Quality good

I attended my first game for a couple of years last night and arrived early. I could have sworn that there used to be some programme sellers inside the stadium, but this doesn’t appear to be the case. Just seems an obvious opportunity for revenue generation if people want to grab one after they’ve entered. I've always gone underneath the South for programmes.

Sales of programmes are declining, I don't really think it's much an issue. Couldn't get one for the Oxford game because they weren't expecting a big crowd for that game. Had to order one online instead. Would make sense to have a programme stall in the concourse for each fan. 1

alanharper Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I stopped buying programmes years ago, used to get them religiously. Noticed that the sellers haven't been where I usually got mine from, next to the crossing at the bottom of Parkside Road, for quite a few seasons now. Rarely seem to see anybody reading one at HT either, they must sell loads fewer than they used to. They seemed to survive the fanzine age but the Internet has almost killed them off.
Sheffieldrams Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Maybe its my age but I have all the Derby County home programmes since I started supporting the Rams in 1970. I pay a subscription and have them sent to my home. I also buy a programme at every away game I go to. They are all in binders by season and we have had to convert the garage into a spare room to store them. Maybe it is not something that younger supporters are interested in but when I flick through them it brings back memories of past games and friends I have been to games with. I joke with my wife that if the house ever caught fire I would rescue the programmes first and the family second. My wife replies that if I upset here the programmes will be the first thing to be set on fire. I have been walking on eggshells for 40 years!!!! 2
