Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup

For anyone interested, we've entered an under 23 team into this competition.

We got a bye in the 1st round and play in the 2nd round tomorrow v Hemsworth Miners Welfare who are step 6 of non-league I believe. 

Will be at Hallam tomorrow for the game against Park Steels, but cheers for the info.
 

If our kids get into the next round then that could be another few quid for the club if we get a home tie

Hemsworth are step 7 of non-league. They are currently top of the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League

Where do HMW play ? I am from from Hemsworth and they play in Fitzwilliam or did, Has the Welfare ground got floodlights now.

Are The Royal Oak still in the draw?

I think they still play in Fitzwilliam not far from the train station.
They have floodlights and a plastic pitch.
IIRC they are barred from entering the NECL (Step 6) are they pitch is smaller the regulation size.

Cheers for this . Must be the same pitch i remember with a lot of money spent on it. Going to try too get along, only 4 mile away

Yes, its a great little stadium nowadays

I used to love the County Cup back in the day when all the local sides entered. If I remember correctly, you could opt out if you paid a fee to the local FA.
