Why don't you get tickets near them, take your own trumpet and pay different tunes to them as they play.

They will probably say you are spoiling it for them and then you can point out the obvious.

Might get the message across.

They are horrendous imo and  I used to have dealings with them through business a fair few years ago.

Imagine going to a football match and taking a trumpet 🤣

They've killed the atmosphere at Wembley for the England games too.

On our way, on our way

Parp parp, toot toot.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this band has been going for at least 30 odd years...  I am sure the original lineup is either passed away or in the "coffin dodgers" section of the stadium...  Just like old rock bands with no original members - it seems like it should be time to pack it in....  Do the right thing already.....

I reckon we should get my mum on the Kop.

When I had a drum kit and she'd had enough of the noise, she come in and give me a stare like Medusa and I'd freeze. I'd not quite turn to stone but I might as well have.

It's done completely out of self-interest /lifestyle. They get to travel all over the world. They know they're not well liked and they don't give a shyte.

For me, the end came when they drowned out anti-Chancer songs, which was completely unforgiveable.

That surely demonstrated their handouts/freebies, in that the idiot had them in his back pocket. Disgrace.

True. But if something has bugged you for a long, long time. You're entitled to speak up. Especially when they'd jump ship tomorrow for a better offer.

A great atmosphere in the ground yesterday which, maybe, drowned out the band.  I didn't hear them and assumed that they were at The Etihad with England.  If they were, on such a momentous day for SWFC, where does their loyalty lay?  A few weeks ago they were doing their best to try and drown out any anti-chancer chants, is it finally time to say goodbye?

Don’t understand all the hate about the band. For many years now, on the match days when they aren’t there, the kop sounds almost dead. What is the solution to this?

Band aren't there anymore. Fans begin to chant off their own backs like they used to or like they do now at away games. Wouldn't take long if as we all hope we're watching better quality on the pitch. They wouldn't be missed.

The atmosphere has been killed by the band.

Hard to be positive when it's drowned out by a trumpet.

They've been disliked for years but they either don't care or are to ignorant to notice.

Being kind is one thing, but the consensus is that these people are not wanted.

You may well be correct with your conclusion but a few posts on OT does not a consensus make.
