Leeds U from sheff Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Why don't you get tickets near them, take your own trumpet and pay different tunes to them as they play. They will probably say you are spoiling it for them and then you can point out the obvious. Might get the message across. They are horrendous imo and I used to have dealings with them through business a fair few years ago. Imagine going to a football match and taking a trumpet 7
keefdave Posted November 14 Posted November 14 They've killed the atmosphere at Wembley for the England games too. On our way, on our way Parp parp, toot toot. 3 3

Correct me if I am wrong, but this band has been going for at least 30 odd years... I am sure the original lineup is either passed away or in the "coffin dodgers" section of the stadium... Just like old rock bands with no original members - it seems like it should be time to pack it in.... Do the right thing already..... 3
Singo35 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I reckon we should get my mum on the Kop. When I had a drum kit and she'd had enough of the noise, she come in and give me a stare like Medusa and I'd freeze. I'd not quite turn to stone but I might as well have. 3
Ian_D Posted November 14 Posted November 14 new owners, new broom, sweep them up and brush them int' bin. 3

They get to travel all over the world. They know they're not well liked and they don't give a shyte. For me, the end came when they drowned out anti-Chancer songs, which was completely unforgiveable. That surely demonstrated their handouts/freebies, in that the idiot had them in his back pocket. Disgrace. 2 WE'RE ALL WEDNESDAY AREN'T WE

I didn't hear them and assumed that they were at The Etihad with England. If they were, on such a momentous day for SWFC, where does their loyalty lay? A few weeks ago they were doing their best to try and drown out any anti-chancer chants, is it finally time to say goodbye? Don’t understand all the hate about the band. For many years now, on the match days when they aren’t there, the kop sounds almost dead. What is the solution to this?

Fans begin to chant off their own backs like they used to or like they do now at away games. Wouldn't take long if as we all hope we're watching better quality on the pitch. They wouldn't be missed. 2

Remove the band it will come back eventually.

They've been disliked for years but they either don't care or are to ignorant to notice.
