Elvin Parsnip Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago With the EFL saying its Fee restriction is likely to stay Textor is probably the best option and only person who will be interested as he can transfer / loan players from his other clubs to get round it and imagine he could get around the wage cap this way too.

But we have to face the reality that we are probably just at the beginning of this. Depressing isn't it? Did any of these clubs get a lengthy fee restriction to put off buyers ? I cant remember hearing of it before or certainly not a 3 window long one.

Flashowl Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Is it just me or does this read like the HMRC are coming for us? 1
morganowl Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago the efl do not care . they only care about fixtures going ahead, they didnt withhold the monthly money to pay other football creditors . the wage bill was 1.9 million a month inc paye upto june . since then 18 players ,coaching staff and manager left so im guessing the wage bill inc paye will be under half that now easily the lowest in the championship , and probably nearer 600k without paye . so in other words the efl are keeping him in charge by giving him the monthly sky money . come january he will sell players and a few will hand in there notice so the wage bill could be under 400k a month . i think we have only 1 option thats to get games stopped.

Confirms EFL can't do anything, so we are going to need the Regulator to get him out Nothing we didn't already know. The EFL have proved they're useless for a long time, nothing will change with them. The regulator is our only hope- with the amount of coverage and concern they've already shown, I think they will be able to save us.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago We need to extend the Middlesborough boycott to include every game, home and away Not one penny more 4 Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Keep starving him of as much money as we can. No tickets, no refreshments, no merchandise and certainly no early bird season tickets. The money will run out and he'll have no choice but to sell or lose the club for nothing. Agree But to be clear, I can still A - Go to every away game B - Go to every home game cos I renewed my ST when nobody knew DC was a wrong un C - Go to every cup game as long as it’s the first, last, 12th, 100th or 428th game either me or any other family member has attended D - POTD if it’s my kids, step-kids, foster kids. Jodie Kidds or Billy the Kids christening, birthday, communion, Bar Mitzvah or gender reveal. E- Go to every game if it’s good for my physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, financial, environmental or sexual health F -Buy a snack if I’m alcoholic, chocoholic, foodaholic, shopaholic, workaholic , photoholic or diabetic G - Go to games to support the lads H - Go t’game wi mi mates H - Go to the game to get points I - Go to the game to name , shame, blame and frame everyone else Right? 1 3 3

EFL are not exactly moving at speed with Chansiri, charged in June and no hearing yet (though they say it will be this year). They're like sloths on a go slow.

But we have to face the reality that we are probably just at the beginning of this. Depressing isn't it? in league 1 next season if the efl allow him to he will not have the 550 grand a month sky money or the twice yearly prem money . it be 5x less so he is going to need several thousand season tickets to be sold and get gate money too and even then he will have probably the lowest wage budget in league 1 with very likely points deductions next season too . absolutely certain to be league 2 and it can get worst , luton, scunthopre ,oldham and many more end up in non league . he will reduce costs massively next season and only open the south stand and possibly lower section of the north stand with grandstand and kop mothballed, sadly this aint a far fetched thought its absolutely in his head to do this . we simply cant allow this to happen , the clubs above never had 6 embargos but there owners were hated just as much . 1

HMRC would be the straw that breaks the camel’s whats it… Yep, this is what I took from it too. They may have reached the limit of their current powers but with all the other noise around us from various sources, HMRC may be tasked with dealing the death blow and they're warning the trust to get a plan ready to go. 1
modboy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Looking like he might just run us into the ground keeping the “brand” on life support. As said on the pod it’ll be a new batch of kids on minimum wages turning out for us next year. Probably could just use the south in worst case scenarios to save costs.
ThisCityIsOurs88 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago This is so boring. Need to get every home game called off for something to actually happen. 2

The boycott is so important, he's got nowhere else to go, nobody lending him anymore money. But if he gets to January, he'll get early bird money, even if a lot less than normally, He'll sell Charles and Bailey and he'll get next installment of TV money This is his plan Agreed although I’m still convinced he’ll get beyond December without having reach an agreement with someone and leave
