It's a crazy situation and I don't know how it ends tbh.

Unless the regulator can remove him, then I think the club will eventually go under tbh.

Chansiri can continue to devalue what remains of the club, but eventually he will be left with pretty much nothing.

From reading that, the only option is to get games abandoned / unfulfilled.

They'll just hit us with more fines and what not.

Not to say it shouldn't be considered, but I don't think it will expedite a sale.

And yes, no one should be shocked to find out that the EFL's only concern is whether Sheffield Wednesday can turn up every Saturday and certain Tuesdays to get beat handily.

We simply need to keep the squeeze on, that's all as fans we can do.

Keep starving him of as much money as we can. No tickets, no refreshments, no merchandise and certainly no early bird season tickets. The money will run out and he'll have no choice but to sell or lose the club for nothing.

What infact was the point in meeting them as we knew from the last time nothing would come of it, yet the trust keep on playing the good guys and wouldn't condone the pitch invasion.

The only way is stronger sustained action ivluding more match stoppages.

Even if this is down to the regulator to remove DC, we are talking years for all the legal stuff to be sorted.

I’m starting to think it’s 50/50 as to what happens first; winding up order or IFR removing DC.

there it is, in black and white. The boycott is so important, he's got nowhere else to go, nobody lending him anymore money.

But if he gets to January, he'll get early bird money, even if a lot less than normally, He'll sell Charles and Bailey and he'll get next installment of TV money

This is his plan

Or the EFL’s scope to impose changes is extremely limited at least partially down to the boycotts?

Got to keep boycotting.

That's the only way.

Starve him off cash and it will eventually catch up to him. He can't just live off basic payments from the EFL and what have you forever surely.

The more he runs into the ground, the more fans will desert what's left of this football club. Let's be honest, it's practically dead now anyway.

Exactly. If we're going to die it will be on our own terms.

It makes no sense does it that Chansiri can’t see that even if he hangs on through January and/or manages to beat a regulator in courts, he will be left with a football club with hardly any fanbase and no income coming from them. Which means the club will eventually close down

"The EFL confirmed that a hearing date has been set"

When?

Is the date 'secret'?

Before the end of the year they confirmed. But the verdict will then be 2026  in all probability.

It seems to me like the EFL are manipulating this by dragging it out. Some hearings have a mass of evidence to go through before they can start - this is cut and dried.

I think they don't want to give us the points deduction too early as it clearly will make all of our games meaningless. They are anyway but it just isn't that obvious yet.
