1952Owl Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 Let the "younger players" continue to show "they have the fight"!!!!! We have nothing to lose. Back em! BUT some question marks on below (Chansiri is killing swfc meanwhile) Logan Stretch (why not?) Emery WEAVER Otegbayo? McGhee Grainger Thornton Shipston? Johnson Brown Kobacki ? Otegbayo is poor. But...... ? Ugbo is poor. But..... ? Shipston. Not convinced! ? Fusire a Sub. Not convinced! Subs?????? Palmer! Ugbo - em? Jamal McNeill Evers Fusire - em? Horvath ANO? 1
swfcnathan Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 Don't think you need to play stretch. Goalies could play every day if needed so why rest the keeper?
S72 Owl Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 Subs; Harvoth Palmer Otegbayo McGhee Young CM? Kobacki McNeil Grainger Lowe
Beighton Owl 87 Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 After Saturdays result I think most of the first XI need to play to build confidence going forward. Horvath Iorfa Weaver M. Lowe Palmer Amass Fusire Bannan Ingelsson J. Lowe McNeill Stretch Valery Otegbayo Johnson Shipston Thornton Ugbo Cadamarteri Brown 2 1

Personally prefer to play majority of young lads . They’ve earned the chance my team Stretch Palmer Weaver Emery Johnson Thornton Shipston Fusire Kobacki Brown mcneil Subs all young lads + maybe Lowe / ugbo reason palmer is in the starting 11 for experience factor 1
Bassetts Allsorts Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 A goalkeeper called Stretch is destined to be the best goalkeeper in the world. Get him in the starting lineup! 1
thekimmyowl Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 play the youngsters, if we go out the youngsters gain more experience, if we win it creates more revenue for DC and potential for a big club at home which would test the resolve of many abstaining. prey if we win we are away. 1

The young lads have done well so far but I don't see them getting past Grimsby tbh. We got through the first round due to having a man advantage for most of the game and we were incredibly lucky to hold on against Leeds too. 1

In normal circumstances I’d agree but don’t see it benefiting tbh . Confidence is one thing but general lack of quality in the league is astonishing. good chance to see the likes of brown / weaver / Johnson / emery etc . I think against Bolton we were good value overall . Yes it was against ten men but that was through great play . I know Bolton did well as the game wore on . vs Leeds absolutely but we were resolute- on another day probably would have lost by a few ! grimsby being in league 2 so shouldn’t have more quality than those above .. considerably less . I understand they did Man Utd but that was more of a unique result which happens once every now and again. certainly wouldn’t go full league 11. Either the team I mentioned or possibly a couple of others . i wouldn’t be convinced our league 11 beats the u21 side … they’d probably lose on pens to them 1
1952Owl Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 S72owl Fernandes injured fella. + Amass came off Saturday with a slight injury. We need him fully fit Saturday! + The 3 below.... need to buck up pdq! I different circumstances I would loan all 3 out tbh! So far very unconvincing Ugbo Shipston Fusire
1952Owl Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 And Kobacki looks out of his depth. But he has been played as a LWB. He is poor in that role. Poor defender. BUT... why not try him up front with George Brown? Kobacki has a bit of pace. Maybe that's all?
1952Owl Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 Oh... and Otegbayo as I have said so many times is not a centre half! There is an outside chance he could be coached as a full back? I'm different circumstances he should be loaned out like Cadamarteri was to a Lincoln City type club.
Dutch McLovin Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Barrett Emrey Weaver McGhee Fusire Kobacki Shipston Thornton Johnson Brown Lowe
Geörge Whitebread Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Barrett Emrey - Weaver - McGhee Fusire - Shipston - Thornton - Johnson McNeill - Kobacki Brown
