Popular Post Dorsetowl1997 Posted September 13, 2025 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2025 With attendances still much higher than what they should be is time to start blocking supporters from entering the stadium to discourage future attendance? If we can get 3 to 1 we can safely block a supporter from entering by enforcing a citizens arrest style approach. This would would be most effective against pay on the gate supporters. I can understand why some might think this is crossing the line. 1 1 60

Paulb Posted September 13, 2025 Posted September 13, 2025 Even if every fan stayed away, the attendance would be about 17500. As we have already been told in numerous threads, season tickets are always counted in full even if a season ticket holder stays away. the point would be that the claim of such a crowd with few supporters there would represent the stupidity of stating attendance figures when it actually identifies number of seats sold. what is really needed is an actual head count via the turnstiles, not beyond a reasonable request as all entry is now electronically controlled. A bit of a tweak with the software and real bums on seats could be stated. 3 1

I can understand why some might think this is crossing the line. If people have bought season tickets, they have every right to attend games. I'd be amazed if anyone is going POTG to watch the absolute desolation of our club. Assume you're not going to travel up from Dorset to form a blockade. 6
REDOWL Posted September 13, 2025 Posted September 13, 2025 It was called a picket line back in the day. 2

4evaowl Posted September 13, 2025 Posted September 13, 2025 Are attendances that good? Take away season ticket holders and away supporters and that can’t leave many buying tickets. 6

HIGHERSTATE Posted September 13, 2025 Posted September 13, 2025 As part of supporting Sheffield Wednesday this year I advise online fans to touch grass. The news will still be here when you come back. 2
