Nancy will end up being worse than Mowbray, but better than Barnes.

The team is awful, but O’Neill would have kept them galvanised enough to pick up the wins.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if Rangers went to Parkhead next month and won, and i wouldn’t be shocked if both they and Hearts are above them at the end of the season.

The only proper wake up call the board are going to get is something like this happening.

I agree you do have some glaring weaknesses. Will it really be that bad though?

I think like your neighbours you are lacking in quality attacking options. Maybe Iheanacho will do a bit of a job when he comes back?

For me, given the budgets it’s quite incredible that the two best strikers in Scottish football are both in the capital. Shankland and Bowie at Hibs both walk into the two Glasgow sides.

Right back seemed a problem too for you, Ralston is pish, but then MON seemed to get a tune out of the young lad Donovan. I really like the look of him, Nancy then drops him, and plays three left footed defenders in his back 3. Very strange.

I think Nancy will make too many changes too soon and the results will suffer.

Whilst it was only his first game at the weekend, he looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. I don’t think he’s the right man. I could be wrong but the gut feeling tells me it’s going to end badly.

That team at the moment don’t look cohesive at all. Up front there was nothing on Sunday. Maeda should have scored in the first half, but apart from that and the Engels header straight at the keeper, there was nothing to suggest that they would score.

Hearts defended well and as a unit are a decent side. I think you’ll definitely keep the pace throughout the season, unlike Aberdeen last year.

Celtic need to start investing in more home grown talent I believe. I know it’s probably unfair on the likes of Hibs, but lads like Bowie should be targets instead of unknown quantities from Europe.

McGregor aside, there’s real lack of composure from anyone on the ball, which when you look back at the times when Christie and Armstrong were playing is a huge drop in quality.

Carter-Vickers being out is a blow, but January has to be all about getting in some quality at the top end of the pitch.

Agreed about his comments and I’m really hoping he is a flop too.

Röhl has managed to get Rangers back in the conversation now. A good January for

you and it’s wide open.

Motherwell have been incredibly impressive this season too and probably have fewer points than they should have. That’s the top 4 in my opinion.

The real conversation about us starts in the next couple of weeks given we've got Hibs and Hearts pre christmas and then Celtic and St Mirren post christmas.

I am frustrated that we never beat Dundee United cos we battered them overall - that would have put us right into contention in my view.

I'm not sure we'll have the consistency needed to lead a title charge.

Ange lost his 1st league game aswell away at Hearts, didn't do bad after that did he lol

Think he lost three of his first six even. If Nancy proves to be a Martin-level disaster there’s still room to bin him and bring Saint Ange back to rescue the title. Nothing against the new

bloke but I’m secretly hoping for that, I miss hearing “we’ll just play our football mate” in that gravelly voice.
