So what do you think of Jurgen Klopp?

Didn’t have this on my bingo card! 

Didn't want to come out as gay because of the abuse but decided to become a ref.

Klopp is cringy in that Trivago advert. They must have paid him a fortune to do it.

I'm struggling a bit to join the dots with this. 

The reason he decided to snort Bermuda marching powder and act like a complete helmet on camera was because he's gay and was fearful of coming out? 

Jim White was saying today on Talksh*te that he was at some football event last season and on his table was Coote's boyfriend. That would suggest his homosexuality was well known within the football community. 

I appreciate that's a bit different to going public with it, but I'm struggling to feel too much sympathy for him tbh. 

Also, I can't help but notice the Sun got the exclusive on this one. That being the paper who released the videos of him in the first place.

If he has been blackmailed, then that's appalling but not entirely surprising given the paper involved.

Still not sure how that really explains his other antics and I don't particularly like how this is all been framed

To be honest, I've had more sympathy with him from the beginning.

He called someone who, by most accounts, is a c*nt, a c*nt. It's naive to think that people don't have thoughts about those they work with and alongside, we all do. It also doesn't really say anything about his integrity that he doesn't like Klopp. The problem was saying it and being recorded saying it, for which his position became untenable.

However, it always felt like more was being made of it than that warranted. With this now going on, the rumours of blackmail and the paper involved, it's looking like it may have been a case of "give us the coming out interview or we release this" now followed by "we're running a story on you being gay anyway."

Yeah, I think you may well be right. 

And yes, Jurgen Klopp is most certainly a c*nt. 

Liverpool winning the title makes me sad, but there is something quite funny about Slott coming in and probably winning the title at his first attempt. 

Slott has taken the same team, made some tweaks and got them firing in in a much more controlled manner than Klopp was able to do so in his last few seasons.

Don't get me wrong, he's a decent manager, but as well as there being something a bit off about him, there's a lot of talk that he's very different when the cameras are off. I think a lot of people around the game were very much on the side of "he shouldn't have said it and can't keep his job, but he's not wrong."

It seems like this may be a thing, especially when you go back to when the original stuff started doing the rounds and there was the below that also got mentioned. Giving that rag a story about his sexuality before they run a story on something else?
