Not answering my own Question but I posed this question 10 hours ago. Fate had it that our U18's came back from 5-1 down at Crewe Alex to turn the game on its head in the second half winning 6-5
Sheff6 Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 What is significant to us about the calendar exactly repeating itself?

That must be Jim McCalliog when we beat Burnley 7-0. We were all shouting for Jack Whitham to be given the spot kick (he made his debut as a half time sub and scored two) but Jimmy Mac took it and hit it straight at the keeper. 1

The Everton game was the only one I could think of but I'm not sure it's correct. According to Keith Farnsworth's book Everton scored first but we quickly equalised only to be 1-5 down at the interval. We then pulled the four goals back in the second half despite having a player sent off.
