Going on about character nobody gets rich enough to own a Premier League club these days without being a horrible poopydoo somewhere along the line.

Dont think Thailand are overly keen on Human Rights.

Cant stand Newcastle self entitlement but I'd love this to be us, how they get around FFP will be interesting though although I've a feeling that will be gone in the next 2/3 seasons anyway as new money challenges the establishment.

Not sure he is, yet the driver (allegedly) of this Consortium is the Ruler of Saudi Arabia the same bloke who sent a squad to torture, kill and dismember a Journalist he didn't like

If it wasnt for sponsorship Arsenal's ground wouldn't have a name.

Because stadium renames have generally proven not at all worth the money spent in terms of advertising exposure or branding impact, or infrastructure changes to accommodate the renames themselves.

It's a really silly bit of corporate willy-swinging that's going to die off quickly in the era of retrenching penury coming up.

Don't necessarily agree with the stance on money but Ashley has been pretty terrible with their managers and renaming St James Park.

Have to say it would be some nice karma if Bruce is booted out, less than a year after leaving us. I don’t blame him for taking the toon job but the way he went about it was a bit disrespectful to us. 
I expect his pay off from the new owners will cheer him up a bit 

Reading yesterday that Pochetino is a shoe in for manager

Imagine being a toon fan now there’s talk of Potchettino being boss and trying to sign Bale.  If that was Wednesday the takeover would collapse and we would end up appointing Barry Venison and signing Roberto de Builda.

All well and good but nothing to do with the point I made.

I like how BEin sports are more interested in the broadcast rights than the human rights record.
