  1. Charles if even 50% fit Palmer M Lowe Cooper (Otegbayo 60) Amass Ingelsson Valery J Lowe McNeil Redmond (replace on 60 for Fusire and switch the shape) Cadamarteri with Iorfa missing, leaves us really short. Still no Kobacki, Chalobah, Bernard, Weaver, Brown either Redmond could do max 60 mins, Cooper cant play 3 games in 6 days.
  2. Id like to keep Charles M Lowe Cooper Bernard Weaver Brown the rest could be sold/loaned out/released Lowe wont stop, nor will Bernard or Charles. So its pretty much a whole new squad. 30+ year olds arent our future, id keep Cooper as an older head at the back, thats it. We need a youthful squad, that can create momentum, have hunger, have a re sale value. No I would not keep Baz or Palmer, thank them, build them a statue, give them a bonus or whatever, but no this era needs new players, and possibly a new manager, not knee jerk, but looking at HP previous record as a manager it does not make for great reading
  3. Scrappy, but im not getting the dreaded nerves this time, due to situation were in. It does not make a difference to our season does it, and bragging rights, i dont think either club has anything to brag about, a win would be nice for sure, but i see it being a drab 0-0 or 1-1
  4. So now we have accepted we are league one bound, who would you keep around, ive disregarded youngsters such as Fernandes, Emery, Alao etc for now, they dont have to be nominated in the squad due to age. Ive picked the ones who i have been most impressed with thus far Pierce Charles (he will be sold, lots of takers, around 2.5m id imagine) Stretch- youngster keep around Horvath- will return to Luton Palmer- id personally offer him a coaching role with a one year player deal, but make it obvious hes a back up player, his experience and versatility is handy Siqueira- injured for the year, likely to have effected him, id release Valery- he will get sold; and will want to leave, he aint playing league one, he will want to retain his international place Bernard- will leave, again will have takers in Champ if he proves his fitness Iorfa- release, old, and been here donkeys, needs a freshen up M Lowe- will leave/sold champ teams will want him Weaver- Keep, looked promising, might be ok in league one Otegbayo- sell/loan out/release- not good enough, dont rate him Amass- will go back Man U R Johnson- keep as back up left back Baz- same deal as Palmer, id offer him a year as a rotational player, hes not the future, hes been brilliant, but comes a time to say bye, either give him a crack at champ for one more year, or offer him a player/coach role, on proviso he aint playing every week Chalobah- release; biscuit knees, big salary, cant stay fit Ingelsson- id keep, hes useful, can play different positions, gives it his all, decent age Fusire- keep, looked ok of late, young enough to improve Thornton- loan out to league 2 Kobacki- get rid/loan out, too light weight J Lowe- get rid, been very poor, wrong side of 30 McNeil- on the fence, poor attitude, not done much thus far Cadz- is a 50:50 one, if upwards of 1.5m comes in id be tempted to take it Ugbo- pffft, under contract, cant see many takers for a 0 in 40 striker, think were lumbered unfortunately Brown- 100% keep, impressed, young, re sale value.
  5. There are 2 sides to the coin on this one. So im on the fence. im embarrassed that we are about to enter that god forsaken league again, we should never be in there. Entering that pizza cup against Fulham u-21’s and the like. losing to Forest Green was a dark day, Stevenage 5-1, Leyton Orient and Exeter I recall roastings. That being said, nothing beats that winning feeling on a saturday night. If we beat Barnsley 1-0 in a local derby for example next year, I wake up with a spring in my step, regardless. If we were to play Southampton, just like Saturday just gone, we lose, im pissed off, ruins weekend, so there are pros and cons. I think you have to look at it as part of the journey, part of the re set rebuild whatever you want to call it. Now…. This time round i dont want a dads army approach ‘to get us out the division’ where we sign a load of 30+ (James, Hunt, Gregory, Smith, Stockdale, Ikky, Marv, Vaulks, et al, alongside Baz, Palmer, and co) so they have no re sale value, then you have to make wholesale changes when you get back to champ, and lose momentum. i want us to use likes of Weaver, Brown, Fusire and develop these, as they will be worth money down the track. Id imagine likes of Max, Valery, Bernard, Charles will all be sold or unwilling to drop, and that money can be reinvested either in wages, infrastructure or when EFL eventually allow us to spend. Build a younger side, with re sale value, who are assets, get used to winning, get that feel good factor back, and come roaring back in what will hopefully just be a quick detour of the league, taking over the towns as we pass through. Id personally give Henrik a chance as well, im not usually all sentimental, but this guy put his head above the parapet when others scarpered, he deserves that loyalty
  6. Penny for your thoughts, I no you read this forum. obviously very knowledgable on all things Wednesday, and assume you no about Admin and its ramifications. Have you heard anything on the 4-5 interested parties, and no im not expecting you to name them if you were to no, and potentially scupper any deal. Do you no anything about the admin team, so far been very impressed by Kris. thoughts/discuss??
  7. Staton saying Walton’s were not present, think we can gather Textor was there. Admin said 2-3 had been in touch who were already public knowledge to the fan base, be interesting certainly.
  8. Will the transfer window ban still apply with new owners?
  9. Lumley Valery Palmer M Lowe Fusire Bannan Ingelsson Amass Cadamarteri Brown J Lowe thats what id like to see, go for it, nothing to lose. Assuming Dom is missing
  10. With points deduction, all the embargos, the atmosphere around the club (no wages, that clown upstairs, boycotts etc), inability to sign players in the window, and the schedule come the end with no reinforcements, do i think we will stay up?? No not a chance unfortunately
  11. If we can get the above back (Siqueira aside) we have a squad that would have an outside chance. Adding in the Jan window if we can will also be key, 3-4 bodies would certainly help. Remains to be seen. I no from previous press conferences HP mentioned Johnson and Chalobah have an outside chance of being available before next international break. Kobacki around a month, Charles not heard anything other than him having surgery, and Bernard cant be too far away considering hes been out since Feb.
  12. Reece Johnson 1-2 weeks Siqueira -season Charles-unsure, guess 6-10 weeks Bernard- again guess work, approx 6 weeks Kobacki - 1 month Chalobah-2 weeks thats my understanding at least
  13. Very quick with scores, as quick as SSN
  14. Id like Horvath Palmer Iorfa M Lowe Valery Bannan Ingelsson Johnson Ugbo Cadamarteri J Lowe go for it, carry a threat, no point sitting back
  15. In the building, about best we could have hoped for i guess
  16. Charles Otegbayo Iorfa M Lowe Valery Bannan Ingelsson Palmer Ugbo Cadamarteri J Lowe
  17. Killian Barrett Reece Johnson Will Grainger Devlan Moses George Brown Harry Evers id imagine some of these will be involved in the squads throughout the season
  18. Correct, we did a drop off at Bannan’s last week. From Liam Palmer’s
  19. I did think it was overkill under Röhl but now weve gone the other way, think we could benefit from one or 2 to help Henrik, considering Röhl, Powell, Lanse, Thompson and Bibbo have all left
  20. With no announcements regarding his support staff, what do we think will happen going forward? id imagine Holdsworth and Coke will continue to support in the interim, along with Ben Ledger. i believe Andy Parslow and Ben King remain as set piece coaches Rob Lee, Chris Brealey, Ryan McMahon fitness/sport science physios Quintela, Teather, Taylor all remain as far as im aware. Richard Stirrup is head analyst I can see Bannan and Palmer being asked to assist with coaching at some point also however Andy Holdsworth, Giles Coke and Ben Ledger at some point you would assume will return to their academy roles. So has anyone heard anything with regards to additional coaches, or is there any from previous clubs that he tends to favour and worked with in the past
  21. Good work out, looks like Reece Johnson is going to be deputy for Lowe (if he does not leave for PNE) Stretch could be back up keeper rather than Barrett perhaps. the 11 isnt horrific if Baz, Pato re sign and when Dish returns we are in need of a center back desperately, and some reinforcements in the middle of the pitch, the rest is patch but could make do for now. GK Charles Stretch Barrett RB Valery….. Palmer ….. Iorfa can play there CB Bernard…. Iorfa…..Otegbayo (Palmer/M Lowe/Valery are options) LB M Lowe….R Johnson….. Palmer….. Evers CM Chalobah…… Ingelsson….. Palmer…… Fusire…… Shipston……. Baz Wingers Pato Kobacki…… J Lowe….. FW Ugbo….. Cadz….. McNeil….. with Pato and J Lowe as possible options for me its center back and center mid that are most pressing
  22. My first 11 come first game, assuming Baz and Pato re sign Charles Valery Iorfa Bernard (doubt fit) so Palmer M Lowe Svante Chalobah Bannan Pato Ugbo J Lowe subs: Barrett, Evers, R Johnson, Otegbayo, Shipston, Fusire, McNeil, Kobacki, Cadamarteri
  23. Pretty much but 2 embargos have been lifted which is positive, however the method used to facilitate this is horrendous in selling our better more promising players. i anticipate the fees owed to other clubs for (Beadle loan fee, Charles Loan fee, Wilks and Famewo) believed to be in region of 500k will be settled when we either sell another player (Windass, Lowe, Smith, Charles??) and thd final embargo will be lifted. Verdict on the north stand is tomorrow I believe, and i expect some clarity on Röhl’s future in next 48 hours, with Henrik more than likely being confirmed as new manager. as i understand it, Holdsworth, Coke and Ben Ledger are still assisting with first team training, as a result of Powell, Lanse, Bibbo, and Thompson all leaving
  24. Beadle, Hamer, Pol, Hatsuse, Ihiekwe, Famewo, Armstrong, S Charles, Paterson, Musaba, Gassama, Cissokho, Wilks have all departed, and if rumours are to be believed, M Lowe, Smith, Windass all to follow suit thats not just a fire sale, its an absolute demolition
