  1. It obviously looked great for the person who designed it when sat at their computer. But totally unreadable when in situ. We need to do better at this stuff - all the materials the club produces should hit the highest standards in terms of legibility and accessibility in order to make the matchday experience available and enjoyable to all. Thankfully it should be easy to fix
  2. Thanks everyone for the advice. I don't have time to list them individually - just would like them to go to another Wednesday's fan/collector and maybe get a few quid for them. They're generally in good condition but I am guessing there will be some folds, creases, tears and writing. 1966/67 x1 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 1976/77 x1 1980/81 x1 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 1984/85 x2 1986/87 x5 1987/88 x3 1988/89 x3 1989/90 x1 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 1990/91 x8 (includes league cup final) 1991/92 x33 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 1992/93 x21(includes semi final; league cup final) 1993/94 x1 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 1994/95 x2 1996/97 x3 1997/98 x14 1998/99 x13 1999/00 x11 2000/01 x1 (includes David Hirst testimonial) 2001/02 x9 (includes Sweden pre season) 2002/03 x4 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 2003/04 x7 2004/05 x6 (includes Dundee pre season, Football Masters, play off final) 2005/06 x2 2006/07 x4 2007/08 x2 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 2008-09 x3 2009/10 x2 (includes vs Sheffield United FC) 2010/11 x2 2011/12 x3 (includes vs Sheffield United FC, commemorative edition) 2012/13 x1 2015/16 x1 (includes play off final) and a couple more I've found since making the photo and the list. Plus there is a fanzine, autographs and cuttings.
  3. Looks like they will be going to the charity shop then!
  4. I'm parting ways with collection of 170+ SWFC programmes. They're a range from 1960s-now. What's the best way to advertise these? Is anyone here interested?
  5. I think it is sad that children won't be able to listen for free. I used to love listening to Wednesday commentaries on the radio as a kid. I think we risk pushing away another generation of fans with this decision. And the fact we're the only club in the country to refuse is embarrassing.
  6. Another own goal by the club. Supporting Wednesday is such hard work at times. Given the transfer situation, they could really do with more positive news, not this.
  7. I thought he had a few decent touches early in the game
  8. Love that Wolves away line. Very funny!
  9. I hope they win tomorrow. Would prefer two evening games for our play offs!
  10. Am I right in thinking we don't know the exact date of this yet, as technically we could still leapfrog Derby?
  11. Well done Lewis. It was a big game to come in for. Did well overall and can be proud of a clean sheet.
  12. Collins was alright. Scored a few goals for us too.
  13. Agree. I love the simplicity of this. Will be gutted to see it go.
  14. As we haven't signed a striker, he will get some football. He is our player and we're paying him so I hope he takes his chance.
  15. The PA sound on the kop was far worse on Saturday than it has been for a long time. Hope they can sort it
  16. When they realise they have put prices up too much, I guess the club can save some face by making most matches lower category games. ie they don't actually have to announce a new structure...
  17. I've heard we are working with a design agency on a new logo. Not keen on this. I'd be gutted to see the classic 70s owl element of the logo binned.
  18. The timing of our relegation was rotten. Wages had reached (relative) crazy levels at the time, we blew half our budget on Donnelly, O'Donnell wages and then when we did go down there were no parachute payments.
  19. Can a low-scoring team such as us afford to carry a striker who doesn't score though? It is puttingg a lot of pressure on May.
  20. He was cracking today. Loved his run and cross near the end too.
  21. I didn't even notice they weren't there. I think in my head I block them out regardless
  22. 93-96. Losing those two cup finals broke me. I didn't regain interest until we had the brilliant start to the 96 season.
  23. Thought Madine did well tonight.
  24. Some good Walker commentary here from the 2005 play off final: I'm quite surprised that Giddings is the new sport editor at Radio Sheffield though. I know he has been there longer, but Staton would have been a better choice. I guess Staton's time will come.
  25. It is funny that Mattock's may be goal of the season and yet was probably the one we celebrated least
