Based on how I’ve seen Röhl manage under terrible conditions and the fact that Rogers isn’t doing that great for Celtic at the moment. Rogers is way past his best.

He’d be taking over a decent(ish) squad for that level of football and he’d get them beating all the also rans who make up that league pretty quickly. He’d also be the best manager up there by a distance. I almost hope he turns it down and waits for a better job in his homeland.

Danny Röhl is a ‘failure’ apparently according to one of their fans. “Personally now that Gerrard and Dyche are both out of the running , I would look at somebody like Muscat but I know it is more likely to be Röhl or Carrick or some other English league failure. Just had a look on a Rangers forum and they don’t want Röhl because 2 seasons in the Championship and staying up on the last day isn’t good enough to be manager of Rangers. Most of them want Kevin Muscat. I think I’ll sign up
