  1. I get what you're saying but given they knew that the minutes would be published this is exactly what I would expect them to say.
  2. They said it could be appealed didn't they?
  3. But we do know what powers the IFR has because the act of parliament outlines them in explicit detail, including the process involved for any appeal.
  4. What do you expect him to say... "Yeah, that Chansiri at Wednesday, he's fooked I'm telling you, if i have to drag him out of there with me own hands I will. Let me tell you, he's done, club will be sold by the end of next week"
  5. No. The legislation is being layed now and will come in gradually over the next few weeks. Strongly suggest you check out some stuff on this. This is how he will go.
  6. Tge Act of parliament set out what the IFR can do but secondary legislation fleshes out how they do it.
  7. Just listened too. Can catch up on bbc sounds and he's on about 1 hr 50 in. On Wednesday he said: Waiting for secondary legislation for powers to act but is already investigating our case and is in contact with EFL, local MPs and the supporters orgs (doesn’t take a genius to work out what they will be say). Confirms WILL have the power to intervene and force the sale of the club if needed. The process would be to appoint an administrator to run the club and handle the sale process. BUT Due process must be followed and it's the IFRs preference to work with owners to resolve issues (he has to say that, we all know how that will go). The first thing they are look at is the new "owners and directors test". Consultation has finished and this will be the first thing online that will give IFR powers to act. Essentially, will assess if an owner is suitable to run a club (he didn't say this but I think this includes whether they have cash to fund the club). Obviously in Chansiri case he's going to fall at the first hurdle. My guess is that when the IFR comes online Chansiri will be evasive and won't cooperate, further showing he's a cun...I mean unsuitable owner. He will fail the new owners test and it will move relatively quickly from there.
  8. Honest answer, in any kind of protest movement it's never one act or event that brings chnage. Change comes from sustained, strategic and collective action. It's lots of people doing relatively small things relentlessly until....the straw breaks the camels back. If you go on against Middlesborough its not so much that you are supporting Chansiri, it's that you're not supporting the many thousands of wednesdayites that are fighting for a better future for the club. It won't be me that gets rid of Chansiri and it won't be you. It wont be any one individual. But everyone can play their part by sticking together and supporting the small things that will add up to the tsunami that will wash that ******** away forever.
  9. Go and read the legislation or the many articles that have summarised it.
  10. This means whatever you are doing mate is working. Chansiri hates it and wants it stopped. You know what to do.......!
  11. You keep saying red tape but you haven't said what that is?
  12. What red tape? The legislation is clear, have you read it? The regulator will be dishing out the licences soon. DC wont get one and he'll be issued with a removal order. He can appeal but on very narrow grounds and he wint be successful. That process will be expedited and then he'll be out, for good.
  13. Exactly. The owners and directors test will be beefed up and there's no way Chansiri will pass it even if he can show he's got £500m in the bank. He's jeopardised the future of a 150+ year old community institution. If he’s playing games or genuinely financial difficulties it doesn't matter, he's getting iced by the regulator as soon as it's online.
  14. 3 games in 7 days with pretty much same team. They're knackered physically and probably mentally drained by the whole thing.
  15. Can't you just put a coat on?
  16. New years day vs Derby. All the Danny stuff kicked off not long after and then the fan's forum. Mad
  17. Done And john west
  18. They could just walk off for 1 minute in the 10th minute. Would be a powerful message and would get media coverage, without the regulatory implications for the club and potential legal implications for players.
  19. No, boycott init, Bri. I'll be watching on the telly waiting for you to storm the pitch on the 10th minute.
  20. You first on the pitch for the Cov game then, Bri? Yeah, didn't think so.
  21. Fair play to you both for sorting this out without resorting to a big row. Not easy, especially on the internet.
  22. Sorry, not having this. You don't have to be a sodding lawyer to understand "not a pound in the ground". Not asking people to decipher the rosetta stone ffs.
  23. You're kidding right?
