  1. I know. But that wasn't the answer was it
  2. Oxford, never played in the Premier League.
  3. Someone bought be a Lyle and Scott polo shirt the other week. I'd never spend that kind of money on a teeshirt myself. They got it reduced to £38, reduced from £58. I bought a similar one from Primark for £4. I can guarantee without even touching this shirt that it is not better quality than either of those two shirts.
  4. Out of the frying pan...
  5. I think people are kidding themselves if they think prices will fall under a new owner. My daughter is 6, there is zero chance I'm buying her a legit one any time soon, it will be trashed!
  6. Is it for Christmas 2027? Even that's a bit much for DC, selling half season tickets 2 years in advance!
  7. I said to my Mrs after an hour, the thing that impressed me the most was their bravery. They could have spent the whole game just kicking the ball away, in a low block. But they didn't. They played between the lines, escaped tight spaces and endeavoured to attack when the opportunities came. That performance is something to be really proud of for everyone involved last night. Apart from DC, he can go f*ck himself!
  8. Most of those are EFL sponsors so only giving him as much money as they do to every other club in this competition.
  9. Too many Wednesdayites just go to the football as a leisure activity, if SWFC go away, they'll just shrug and go to the cinema or Meadowhall instead. They say things like "it's in my blood" and "it's a family thing" but what they mean is "I don't want to miss out". All they see is that they might lose their seat that they've had since god was a lad or that they won't have a common ground to spend time with their family doing something else with. Everyone of them has an excuse, and that's what it is, an excuse, as to why they don't want to make a personal sacrifice. And that's fine, each to their own. But they will get zero from me when the worst happens and they are complaining. If you don't sacrifice, you can't moan.
  10. Why, are they starting?
  11. That's the takeover, the buyers were approved months ago, the owner then refused to sell to them! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c1dnkz5elk7o
  12. The buyers were approved months ago, it was the sellers who were causing the issues!
  13. It's a thankless task. But Rob was talking about "changes in systems or personnel". We haven't got any personnel FFS! No point questioning the manager's choice to make (or not) substitutions, he's literally juggling kids and playing time for the only players we have. Just describe the game, tell us what's happening and move on.
  14. I fear that they, like us, have too many "not missed a game since 1937" types who would go no matter what. Also their tickets are like rocking horse sh*t these days so it's a bum fight to get tickets every game (and I think they have a priority system in place too so any ticket would help that). It's a lovely though, but the Lepp will be the only full stand.
