Bit of a 50/59 this one. Whilst I think DR is a good manager I think if he went there at the start of the season he'd have done well. Pre season to get his tactics going and get the fans on side. But he's going to be taking over at the wrong time. Fans are expecting instant results from the new manager whilst I feel it may take Danny a little longer to get them going. Fans seem very divided on his appointment which again doesn't help his cause. If he hits the ground running and picks up a couple of wins early door he will be a very good appointment.

It is a much fairer outcome and I feel for Blackburn. In an ideal world they'd be given the win. But whilst ever there's a chance of a team getting something from the game it's a tricky situation.

Would it, though? Yes they were down to 10 but 10minutes+ is a long time in football. I get the argument and how it's unfair on Blackburn but the only options for me was; To play out the last 10 - This can be seen as unfair as both sets of teams would be more 'fresh". Also seems silly to get all the fans back in for 10 minutes. Replay the whole game.
