Tbf, this is an extreme version of it. In fact, this isn't what getting relegated looks like really. Yes, teams will enter a season knowing they will do well to stay up, but very few, if any, know they've been effectively relegated before the first ball is even kicked. This season is effectively meaningless on the pitch. We are turning up week in week out to get beat and the rest of the division knows it. The whole situation makes an absolutely mockery of the competition. A damming indictment of the previous owner and, to a lesser extent, the rules and governance which allowed him to do it.. If ever a season should have an asterisk next to it.

He was once a very good player at this level. As per usual, we got him when on the decline. Still - at least he can point to a credible body of work. On the other hand, you have Ugbo who has had a few decent loan spells.
