This might shock you, but two people can have the exact same name.
-
It seems that way. They just wanted to make sure something turned up every weekend to fulfill the fixture.

Any serious buyer won't back out because of a mediocre attendance against Preston. The fans stepped up month ago and ensured half a million quid flew into the clubs accounts. The situation is difficult ATM.

Tbf, this is an extreme version of it. In fact, this isn't what getting relegated looks like really. Yes, teams will enter a season knowing they will do well to stay up, but very few, if any, know they've been effectively relegated before the first ball is even kicked. This season is effectively meaningless on the pitch. We are turning up week in week out to get beat and the rest of the division knows it. The whole situation makes an absolutely mockery of the competition. A damming indictment of the previous owner and, to a lesser extent, the rules and governance which allowed him to do it.. If ever a season should have an asterisk next to it.

Well, I'm pretty sure we were loaned money to cover ourselves until January. This was the first notable drop off since Channers left - 28kish against Swansea and Norwich, over 30k v Dem Blades. If any potential bidder backed out because of today's attendance then they weren't serious in the first place.
-
He said the person hadn't been all season.
-
Fair enough. Tbf, you don't know the exact reasons why people haven't attended though. Could be finances, personal reasons or, quite frankly, they can't be arsed. We obviously had that initial surge after Channers f*cked off, but it's going to be difficult to sustain that when we are getting beat every single game.
-
How would you know if someone hasn't been back since Chansiri left?
-
Ah, so the administrators have told you that have they. Any idea on how is likely to take over?
-
We don't help ourselves do we. Think we may have learned after the Ugbo farce last season but alas no. I know we are going down and pretty much every game we play in this season is meaningless, but it would be nice to pick up a few wins and points.

It's all down to one man. The damage he has done to this football club is quite staggering really. Whoever does buy this football club has an almighty task on their hands. -

It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Not sure we will win another game in the league all season tbh. -

Pretty much. I don't think fans are expecting much this season, but you know. Big ask for people to keep turning up for the sake of it. -

I fear not. We've barely got a team and what we do have is pretty sh*te. -

No, this is true, still though. Be nice to give the fans a win at home. -

I hope these new owners have some sort of exorcist available to rid ourselves of this three decade long curse. -

Horvarth hesitated again, but I'd put that more on the defenders tbh. A mess all round. -

He was once a very good player at this level. As per usual, we got him when on the decline. Still - at least he can point to a credible body of work. On the other hand, you have Ugbo who has had a few decent loan spells. -
