  1. I can’t stand these kind of fans. They’re absolute bellends. Like the fans photographing people queuing up for a cup of bovril and posting it on social media to ostracise them. do what works for you. Sometimes taking break from football and doing something else on a Saturday afternoon can really help your mental health.
  2. Yup. I’m feeling the same. Really struggling to be interested in football at the moment. I kind of hate the way the game is going anyway. chansiri has also sucked any joy of being a Wednesday fan at the moment.
  3. That has been my concern for the last day or so. it baffles me why he wants to hold out for more money? Does he really think that’s going to happen? Interesting how all the takeover rumours has stopped too.
  4. the waves of uncertainty do not help at all so I can see how it mirrors with Covid times. Also, we don’t know what’s going on with the club and what actually will happen. We can see how damaging it is to a lot of fans mental health. I am 35 and seen a lot more bad than good times as a Wednesday fan. I think we need to take a step back and look after ourselves. Some of these people claiming to be ITK are causing more upset and distress when the takeover claims haven’t materialised.
  5. I’m a psychotherapist and now more than ever, we need to look after ourselves. Times of uncertainty can cause greater upset and distress, especially when we all have other things going off in our lives. We just want to get to talking about football, tactics, substitutions and inept referees. You don’t need to justify your actions to others. if it’s affecting you now, please take a step back and reach out for help. The help is there and trust me, I’ve worked with hundreds of people over the years.
