In terms of the fee restrictions till 2027, does this also limit wages and signing on fees? Whilst not ideal being able to pay higher wages and signing on fees may improve our chances of attracting better players than we otherwise might

Was there any less fight than when Coventry put 5 past us? Its almost like some are looking at that through rose tinted spectacles We had no pre season, that is a huge factor and not easy to recover from, especially wirh a paper thin squad we've lost youngsters to injury because we have had to play them far too often. Our emergency keeper who was 4th choice in league one isn't performing like Courtois for some reason. And as more injuries kick in it's only going to get worse. It looks to me that a number are playing with knocks Call these excuses if you want but it feels that some people haven't fully grasped the situation we are in and that's It stung yesterday but I'm amazed it didn't happen sooner

If you're upset about our ability to compete with this squad you will never find contentment with football

Meanwhile in the real world we cant afford to pay him off because we are skint and in administration

🦉 v ⚔️ The Steel City Derby: Official Matchday Thread
ossettowl replied to ReginaldD's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Some interesting comments What were people expecting? Been playing with two arms tied behind our back all season so this was always on the cards the tank is empty. Unless we can get embargoes lifted with the new owners then there's more of this to come this season. The season was a write off before we even kicked off thanks to Chansiri Keep the faith we will be back -
No its the same guy The Keith Lard of referees
-
Possibly on my own here but thought Jewell was unlucky, had to start with loads of loanees whilst the board were telling everyone we'd bounce straight back
-
My view is that we are only looking to bring in extra bodies until the end of the season, as I suspect that might be the maximum period EFL will allow us anyway People are saying they'd stick with what we have but the squad looks out on its feet at present and the injuries will only increase We're also shopping in the equivalent of everything must go section of B&M so options will be very limited

Shame they can't take over today, could have had the headline "Guy forks out millions to purchase the Owls"

We all wondered what his overall plan was, hearing this makes more sense. He genuinely thought he had the power, influence and acumen to make things go away!! The businessman equivalent of Wile E Coyote

O'Neill does seem an odd appointment on the face of it, i guess with the Rangers game on the horizon they wanted a recognised Celtic man in as a way of bringing the fans together

Why would anybody be looking forward to the derby at present ? It has the potential to be one of the worst results in the clubs history -
Impressive non turn out to be fair However not feeling a thing, FU Mr Chansiri
-
Cirrect, however I was responding to a query on why boycott tonight but go on Saturday
-
The trust recognise people who have paid for season tickets cant necessarily afford to throw their money away which is why it's just one game Tonight is the main match on SKY and therefore will be seen by more people around the country
