He would probably have been sold that summer because he was too good for a lower mid table side but had we kept him - we may have stayed in the league a while longer seeing as we may have had the cash to go out and buy a replacement instead of the likes of De Bilde. It was pre booked. Also you won’t find me spending 40 odd pound on an entrance ticket for Wednesday right now. I have considered a season ticket recently but most football fans have second and third teams…….. tbh I would have been happy for Brighton to come back and hammer United 2-3 or something but the Red Devils ended up 4-2 winners. I definitely have a thing for the “theatre of dreams”……
