  1. Or maybe it's merely his first bid to test the water?, who goes all in from the start of a bidding process?? Admin have publicly said if there's lower bids they'll go back to the bidder and ask if they want to improve their offer, seems a sensible & prudent approach as part of the process to me. Every penny you save on the purchase price has the potential to be invested in the club!
  2. Can't see any post by crann saying this??. Don't know if it's true or not, but you'd have thought ,if it was a thing, various reporters & admin would have mentioned it repeatedly as being part of the sale process!? Suspect wrong end of stick is in play here!?
  3. looks a bit chunky for Jeffers?, plus he seems to be celebrating scoring so that'd rule Franny right out
  4. Only 'senior' midfielder i'd keep for next season would be Baz, rest are bang average to woeful.
  5. Story in Telegraph (paywall alert) @TeleFootball Sheffield United’s American owners made a shock inquiry in the sale of stricken city rivals Sheffield Wednesday Telegraph Sport learnt of the approach after reports elsewhere that one interested party had suggested an extraordinary merger between the two rival clubs.
  6. Southgate hasn't been offered the Man utd, Spurs , West ham, Forest, Wolves or Brentford job - you've no actual idea of any private contact he's had with any clubs at all, to be fair. Keegan went from England manager to championship, Steve Mclaren went on to manage QPR and Derby - They both were sacked/resigned for starters, Southgate left on his terms. Plus none of those clubs were L1, we absolutely will be, Also loving the idea that Leeds search for a new manager would be focused on those with a Harrogate postal address - At no point did i say Leeds were looking at Southgate, merely suggested HE would be interested IF that became available, and suggesting being close to home for him would add greater appeal, pretty standard job consideration for any employee. But yeah you carry on thinking GS will be itching to experience away days at Burton, Northampton , Exeter et al, seems plausible
  7. Regardless of possible wealth of owners, there's absolutely no chance Southgate goes fom England national manager, who left the post of his own choosing, to League 1 level, none. He'll not come back for anything but premier league. I reckon he's got half an eye on Leeds currently, to see if Farke gets the push, could see him interested in that, especially as he lives in Harrogate.
  8. madri just carling in hipster clothes, so be reyt!
  9. He's actually 7th, but no don't believe he's the one in the photo either. Another straw grasping exercise!!
  10. Dock as many points as they wish this season, its already relegation nailed on. Much prefer to get them all out the way in a dead season than start next on a minus!!
  11. He looks like he's timing a particularly ferocious fart!!
  12. Thinks its only Scotland rather than across the UK
  13. But all the current embargoes are for either owing money or have no proof of future funds. Don't see how club comes out of admin with a new owner and those are still relevant!??
  14. We may well end up swapping places with Stockport, they came close last season and up near top this, so he might not want to go 'lower league'
  15. Why would there still be a wage cap?? That restriction is from the old regime, how would admin process be successful if new owners were deemed to be lacking the funds to be unable to set their own wage budget??
