It come across to me in the interviews that this wasn't necessarily Chansiri's choice and he was pushed in to a decision between nothing and small amount back, and that the administrators applied pressure to make it happen this way. Not 100% on how the full process works, but it sounded like they asked NAP to apply pressure on the ground side of things to strengthen their hand in ensuring they could look for a new owner of the club and ground as one.

After my appalling and failed previous attempt, i'm out on this, but sure we have a lyrical genius in the fanbase who can work on Nina Simone's Aint got no lyrics for tomorrow's return. Aint got no ground Aint got no players Aint got no points Aint got no Money .................... and so on! I'll get my coat

Hope the Administrators are on it, as the recent staffing levels and stock levels of food and drink behind the kiosk's is not going to last 10 minutes if it sells out!

ai says this so, we're off to Hillsborough tomorrow When a football club enters administration, the previous owner loses all control over the club and its finances . All power is passed to an independent administrator, whose role is to manage the club in the interests of its creditors. Here is a breakdown of the owner's influence and access to funds during and after administration: No influence or access to funds Loss of control: The administrator takes over all decision-making authority, and the former owner has no legal power to influence the club's operations, personnel, or strategic direction. No access to funds: The previous owner is explicitly blocked from accessing any of the club's funds. All financial matters, including the handling of central league payments (such as broadcasting and sponsorship rights), are controlled by the administrator. Owner-provided loans are at risk: If the former owner loaned money to the club, that debt is generally treated like that of any other unsecured creditor. This means it is highly unlikely to be repaid in full, as shareholders are last in line for any remaining funds after other debts have been settled. That'll do for me!

Can we go back to Hillsborough tomorrow? Used to have a season ticket, but changed to POTG when i began to dislike Chansiri more and more, and over the past 2 seasons we've only been to one game (final game last season) My young son saves all his money, birthday money etc so he can buy the kits, home, away, 3rd, plus the 3 keepers kits, his annual spend on SWFC was approaching 1k, and thats excluding us buying his tickets, food in the ground etc. He understands my reasons for not funding Chansiri and supports the cause, however i promised to take him back the minute he's gone. So can we go tomorrow safe in the knowledge the money goes to the club and not Chansiri? my understanding now the administrators have been appointed is that all future funds received while in admin go to support the club, staff etc So now is as good a time as any to show our support.

I can’t see how we don’t end up with at least a 8-10 point deduction from the EFL Derby failed to pay players on time over several occasions, they were docked 6 points for this. ( clubs who paid late once were docked less, but all were docked) The club currently bottom lost 2 points for not paying a debt to one club on time, we’ve currently not paid 2, so possibly 2-4 points for this. Chansiri hasn’t finished yet, I’m sure over the remainder of the season, he’ll pay late on many more things. can’t see how we avoid more players being moved on if he’s still here in Jan so clearing the deficit from the deduction could be a challenge, we can only hope the deductions come this season and not next.

Correct there is other expenditure, but there’s also other income, away tickets, merchandise, corporate, EFL payments, TV money theres enough income there to support the infrastructure in its present state and everyday staffing costs. As I said will earlier, we ever get less than 7000 season tickets holders? Will we ever get less than 10000? at an average of £400 that’s between 2.8m and 4m, if he can keep the wage bill lower than the home gate receipts, he can and probably will cling on. Why would he keep a club that’s plummeting down the leagues? The league we play in doesn’t matter to him if he can sustain us through gate receipts, he’s not a lifelong SWFC fan like us. But the clubs value will be worth significantly less? without a doubt that will happen, but unless he needs to secure further debt against the clubs value, it doesn’t matter to him. He’ll still be the owner of a football club, and still hold us all to ransom. Ever get the feeling this is a game to him, just to prove a point? Maybe! The money he’s spent has gone, never to be seen again in the short term (1-5 years) so by holding on to us, he’s gambling on a turn of fortune that allows him to climb the leagues and realise his initial aim of getting us to premier league. Will he achieve this? I’d doubt he has the know how to structure the club in this manner. But he never does what we wish as fans, his rational is bizzare at best and by holding on, with fans putting money in the club he holds all the cards. Stop the income from supporters and he is forced to reconsider wether he likes it or not.

I touched on this in a post back in July, but anyone thinking he can’t fund the club in L1 or even L2 are missing a point. A good young players salary at SWFC is circa 1-2k He can, and no doubt will, have a squad made up this way. once the older players contracts are up and not renewed the wage bill just keep decreasing. 25 man squad made up of 2k per week players would cost 2.6m per year 25 man squad made up of 1k players would cost 1.3m per year. Both these can be covered comfortably by 7000 season tickets at £400 each (2.8m) if he doesn’t want to go, he can hold on as long as he likes, providing he reduces the wage bill. Would we get 7000 season ticket holders in the national league? Judging by the response of many, I reckon we could! The only way we can force this issue is by breaking habits and not spending any money, no season tickets, no POTG, no merchandise, NOTHING! No one is telling anyone what to do, just pointing out that without change from the fans, things will only get worse. Sit in the same seat you have for 25 years, moan with your old friends that footballs changed for the worse due to money, complain about the poor performances, complain about results, complain the ref gave us nothing, complain the chairman isn’t backing the club/manager, moan the food in the ground is poor/expensive complain about the state of the facilities, just keep sitting in your seat of 25 years Or make a stand that’s your choice, but if HE stays, yesterday was the best it will ever be, and tomorrow will always be worse than today. Yes we will win games, maybe even a cup run against the odds, but the fact will remain, yesterday will be better than tomorrow. My lad has normally purchased 6 kits by now (Home, Away, 3rd, 3GK kits) Mostly paid for by saving throughout the year. The minute it’s released he wants us to take him to get the kit, this year he asked for nothing, and says he won’t buy them until HE goes, sure enough when that day comes (if it ever does) we’ll be in the club shop buying them all, until then “Not a penny more”

2-0 win tomorrow and we’ll be in the top 2, maybe even top like last season. HMS pi55 the league sets sail CHANSIRI OUT! on the flip side lose 2-0 and we’ll be in the bottom 3 and may even be bottom. CHANSIRI OUT!

Wouldn’t surprise me if they put out a message during the week, telling anyone with a North season ticket to go to the kiosk near the south on match day to collect replacement paper tickets for either the Grandstand, South or Kop. Hopefully they contact everyone with details on a temporary seat in another stand, and just use your season ticket for entry, but that would make sense and as we all know everything comes from Chansiri!

He’ll get my support, anyone who steps up to provide some normality while a tyrant is destroying the club, deserves our support. its not like he’s just been appointed from nowhere, he’s been with the club for almost 2 years and after Danny’s departure has stepped up. reading some of the replies on here makes it sound like some fans want the club to fold so they can say “I told you so” The way the club is heading and being run is the new normal at Hillsborough, Chansiri will eventually go, but it could be months/years/decades before he does. The choice is narrowing down to back the lads or find something else to follow/support or do on a Saturday afternoon. I used to spend around 5k per season with the club, for the past 4 it’s been less than 1k and this season it’s likely to be zero, not for personal financial reasons, purely because I don’t agree with what is being done to the club. But it won’t stop me supporting the staff/players, they’re not responsible for the mess we’re in, that falls solely on one mans shoulders.

I believe the full picture is becoming clearer each day. to maintain control over the club in the immediate term, Chansiri is going though a large restructuring at SWFC. The largest expense of day to day running is the payroll, this has been quoted at over 20 million per year. On the assumption 75% of this is payroll for the playing and coaching staff, then reducing this expenditure is an easy way to achieve sustainability in the immediate term (1st season). Of the first team players departed, loans finished and contracts which have come to an end, the wage bill will have been reduced by significant amount. while no official wages are published, though it could be estimated the average wage of those departing would amount to over £5m per year. They haven’t and won’t be replaced by players with a contract over 2-3k per week, and with the elite of the academy on half that figure at best, you can see where the squad is heading. Most definitely the lowest wage budget in the championship and probably comparable with the lower half of league 1. As more older first team players reach the end of their contracts in June 26, the wage bill be reduced further. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a wage bill for 25/26 close to 10 million for the entire club and well under this figure in 26/27. 26/27 season is likely to be played in L1, however this isn’t guaranteed and we only need to be the 4th worst team in the league, assuming there’s no points deductions, it’s a big ask, but as a compulsive gambler, Chansiri has no option without relinquishing ownership of the club. I think he’s also gambling on unearthing a gem in the academy. If just one of the young players can make a name for himself during the season, then he’s likely to cash in a seven figure sum (even if it’s only £500,000 he’s still in profit) A bit of perspective on the wages, would be how many £600 season tickets are required to pay a 20k per week player, answer is just under 2000 (don’t forget employers NI) How many £600 season tickets are required to pay an elite SWFC youth player for a year less than 200. So by significantly reducing the wage bill, he can hang on for the long term, the team may become competitive in the years to come if they can build something good, however the issue at the top will remain. Our only hope is that a takeover is under way or by stabilising the club financially it attracts more people to the table. If neither materialise then I fear he could hang on to the club for many years while slowly dropping through the leagues. At some point we will reach sustainability but by this point I’d assume the cost to bring Hillsborough up to the required standard would be beyond his reach and finances. The inevitable outcome is he will one day have to sell, unfortunately us fans will have to stick by the club/team through this period, but never the man at the top or his associates. I only hope the 25/26 season can be the start of some young players first team careers and not the end.
